  • I recently bought capsized as it reminded me of this.

  • lol poned.. :p

  • love it

  • Even Speccy could do this sort of game. Why should I trouble myself with that fat PC keyboard lookalike labeled amiga, jack of all trades, overpriced, and nothing done right...

  • I bought Amiga Forever (Best $10 spent i a long time) and this came with it. Worth he price of admission alone

  • I had the demo of this on the C64. Fuckin' loved it, very difficult & quite random but a fanny-tastic little gem of a game. Just having the freedom to fly anywhere was quite a big deal back then. Could never find the full game anywhere though!

  • i played this addictively aswell, frogs ftw! I dont think I ever completed it but kept playing and just doing random stuff, it was like a sandbox game to me XD

  • One of the best games of all time. I got many weeks of entertainment from the ECS Amiga version. Strangely enough, the whole suicide-grenading tactic was something that never ever crossed my mind, yet would've made parts of the game so much easier :D

I haven't searched very hard, but I know that one ADF version of the game wasn't cracked properly and key items (like the flask and RCD at the start of the game) would randomly disappear... this game had quite efficient copy protection for the time

  • addictive game!! Just downloaded it for the winUAE and still just as addictive.

  • Simply one of the best game I played in my life! I was totally addict... =D

  • Finished, got my solution published in Amiga Power. My only real quibble is that it was too easy.

    (Or not.) :)

  • This is probably the best game i have ever played. I completed it recently though an emulator, and i found the design and structure of the game incredible. So addictive and compelling.

  • Man, I found this game SO DIFFICULT! I'd love to see a longplay of this...

  • search and you shall find.

    it exists.

  • And we carry grenades?!?!

  • We are the imps who say Ni.

  • The physics on this game were amazing! i used to play this for hours, fantastic

  • Hehe, i also had the demo, but the disk was damaged so sometime i got owned by the [!!!GURU MEDITATION!!!]

  • Very immersive game. I only had the demo from Amiga Format.

I used to fill my pockets with 'delightful little frogs'.

Saturdays as a 12 year old. Not a care in the world!

  • Sweet, sweet days! ;)

  • Does a play-through video of the whole game exist to anyone's knowledge? I tried completing it using a walkthrough but it's still too damn hard...

  • Lol he's a suicide bomber, that's unusual.

But in this game you easily get away with such tactics.

  • Amiga Sci-Fi games are the best. I love it!

  • im selling on my ebay the big box version on Skywalkman-Geforce

  • awsome game i still have it in mint boxed cond on the amiga

  • Lucky you, what a game, absolutly loved it. So immersive.

  • I had this on my 500 when I was a teenager, It was sooo hard! did anyone complete it? Can I play it on my pc? I cant get that amiga emulator to work uae (unusable amiga emulator?)

I have the amiga version of the game on floppy disc.

  • i've been playing it on winuae recently after downloading the disk image; seems to work fine.

i also have a complete map and walkthrough. message me if you want more info.

  • This A500 version was definitely my fave out of all of them. The A1200 looked good, but the viewable screen size was pants.

Would be pretty awesome if someone considered doing a 3D remake, using the Crysis or Unreal 3 engine.

  • Physics part was awesome

  • This version looks a LOT easier than the BBC version I played as a kid. I remember it took ages to get your first gun and the robots were much quicker at killing you!

  • wow.. this is quite evolved from the bbc game (the one i played). looks good!

  • Is there anyone on the planet that actually completed the game? I also played this for days, pesky monkeys! Ni! Ni!

  • Only on the C64... you could press 'R' a bunch of times in your spaceship in the beginning and stop the bad guy from nicking the warp-drive thing... he just kinda flops against you a bunch of times and transports out without it...

Then you just play the game as normal... save the astronauts, blow up the maggot machine, flood the place... then go home... and wait 20 odd years for Resdient Evil 4...

  • I got pretty far, I did eventually complete it with help of the save-disk (so I cheated). The demo is much shorter and can be completed pretty fast. The frogs seem to like the windtunnel at the surface, they keep jumping into it.

  • Nice to see that I'm not the only one with a YouTube video of this game. (It's also the OCS/ECS version rather than the AGA version, so they complement each other nicely!)

Also, as for taking out that robot with the icer, you can just lure it into water where it'll spontaneously combust, saving yourself a grenade.

  • the music gives me chills :)

  • this brings back fond memories

  • Damn those demos that enticed you into games that you'd never get the chance to play :(

  • One of my favorite games ever. I played the demo on Amiga Power for DAYS. Totally bewitched!

  • same.. the demo was ace because it had a unique level too :]

  • I played it too on Amiga500.I never figured out how to finish it ;)

  • best game ever made

  • I loved this game so much. The physics, the sound effects, the wildlife!!!! Amazing, never finished it, hope i can get a good emulated copy fo pc somewhere. Thanx, really took me back.
