The original film is Danish....I thought it was pretty disturbing and I feel for the soldier who has to go through so much and see things that nobody should have to see..I know my brother came back from the gulf war..and he didn't want to talk about it ..He walked through Kuwait and I guess there were some pretty horrible things that happened there...burned bodies etc..

I find Bono's voice to be so fascinating! Through out the years Bono's voice has changed no lie. Usually with some if not most rock singers who were around in the 80's or so were good, but as the years go on they sound worse..not bono. His tone totally changes! But it still sounds really good! from his soulful Tenor in the 80's to a softer but feistiness. Not to mention his Falsetto voice is FUCKING HOT.

I like the other version better, this one is a little more polished and at least got rid of the coldplay-sounding stuff in the beginning but they took out the cool ticking noises about 2/3 of the way in, that was my favourite part of the other version.

I don't know why, but I really don't like this song? I love U2 saw them years ago in austin. Still the best show I've ever seen, they have written some of the best war songs in the business.
