Are you sure that the visor cant be opened only slightly in the wet. I havent seen one but me thinks that maybe the little lock down on the visor might be able to slide forward or back to make a small gap.
@REDO5R1 I own this helmet and the visor opens on notches. Opening the helmet to the first notch in the rain is not a good idea. I agree with this review.

Do you know any australian dealer that ships to Europe? I was informed by OGK that the FF5 DUCATI RED model is ONLY sold in australia :( And this is the model color i was looking for since i own a red ducati.Maybe you could check with the dealer that sold your OGK if they have the RED one and if they would ship it to Portugal.I can get the Red "Scream" Model from Japan but NOT the Solid Red.I would really appreciate if you could do me that favour! :) Thanks
if it's as good as the ff4 it will be great - I think the quality of the FF4 is every bit the equal to or exceeds that of Arai - and the fit is excellent for my head
Thanks for the review Dean, you did a really good thorough job :) I just bought the same helmet last weekend in red and I agree it's a great helmet. Cheers Jo
Nope. OGK is Japanese and made in Japan. I have the older FF4 version. There manufacturing date sticker pasted on the inside of the helmet stated the date and where its made.
Why can't i find ff5 on eBay??

Yeah, OGK is a good brand but peoples also like Arai or Shoei much better.
I live in Taiwan and I have FF4. In Taiwan, the weather usually warm and humid, so airflow makes a great role when riding.
Even FF4's airflow not the best design, but I can sure that it's have great airflow, and I believe FF5 will better than FF4 much more.
Sorry for my poor English.

Huge step up from the old FF4 and on par with quality of Arai corsair and Shark RSR2. Cuts through wind like no other helmet.
