Hey, Amber, are you planning to review Dynamite's The Last Phantom? I'm a big Phantom fan(next to Batman he's my favorite customed crime fighter) and hopefully I'll get around to pickingit up sometime. Hope it is as good as the books that Moonstone published.
the Lone ranger is good in great part because of the art many pages dont even have text lots of full page drawings ,someone who doesn't care much for the art can go trough an isue in minutes takes me 30 m. the first time ,Cariello is a master story teller, i like your reviews and , choise of comics keep them coming

Please don't hate me. Just a friendly suggestion: Please just use the music as an intro and "outro". Trying to listen to you talk and having that music play at the same time was annoying, I couldn't watch your vid the whole way.
Sorry. I love your videos and reviews and this sounds like a good comic but I'm being honest with you. Hope no one hates on me for saying it, been getting a lot of hate my lately.
No prob. It's actually rare that I run it all the way through because I only have 2 audio tracks so if I splice in page scans it makes for annoying editing.
Interesting review I might check it out. I have a strange relationship with the Lone Ranger. I'm not much of the fan of the comics but for some strange reason I looooove the short-lived cartoon series of the 60s. Then there are the classic movies I rarely see....for western comics these days I read Jonah Hex.
I buy this comic for my Dad. He seems to enjoy it which must bode well for it considering he has been a life time fan of the Ranger. I owe him my love of comics for he passed along many of his heroes to me. I just wish they would come out with a Shadow comic for the Shadow is a classic that could easily be updated for today's audience.
I love the character of The Lone Ranger and has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. I have been following this series and I really like the way they handle the character. And yes, the fact that I don't have to read 30 other "crossover" titles to understand the sotry is a big plus.
What's really crazy is that now that Disney owns Marvel, and the film right to the Lone Ranger, which they plan on making into a film with Johnny Depp to play Tonto, yeah I'm serious. Anyways, before the film comes out I can expect to see a Lone Ranger prequel comic of some sorts coming out of Marvel. The film I bevel is set to come out in 2012. Disney Want Johnny to do Pirates 4 first.
@comicbookfanboy John Hamm or Eric Bana would be great for The Lone Ranger/John Reid. Karl Urban could be another potential choice, but he's already playing Judge Dredd

@bluestrikemike Wasn't planning on doing the Last Phantom. I have way too much on my To Read Pile that seems of more interest to me personally.

Tonto is NOT a sidekick- he's the real power behind the mask! ;)

I'd really like to see you review Blackest Night: Weird Western Tales #71. I'm curious about your thoughts on it.
