  • Live Aid. Ya had to be there...

  • Jimmy can sure play the guitar.

  • Who is playing that awful bass?

  • try speaking english

  • shut the fuck up this is a song of hope

  • I remember watching this live on TV and thinking, what a mess. Their previous 1980 performance and last show with Bonzo was soooo much better this one was a sad disappointment by comparison, though I would have been cheering and singing with the crowd if I was there.

  • Até bebados são bons

  • I can imagine Jimmy running away after that gig, not wanting to talk to anybody and being totally pissed off ...

  • is that the 80s?

  • im sorry but not even Keith moon could stand up to bonham

  • an entire stadium, FULL. including the field. there's only a handful of bands or actual musicians who could accomplish that today. and Led did this every time

  • What year is this???

  • @Alejandro1313sixx 1985, the Live Aid concert to raise money for Africa. All the best bands at the time went to this concert to play 20 minutes worth of songs each.

  • GRATOS RECUERDOS LOS OCHENTA ;LINDOS TEMAS ,DOCUMENTADOS O NO ERAMOS FELICES. AHORA SOMOS DE OTRO PLANETA ,PERTENECEMOS A LOS ILEGALES ?.

  • Im jealous of that Microphone >:(

  • i could imagine a stair popping out of nowhere from heaven and Bonham walkin down it

  • Not even two or three or four drummers can replace one and only John Bonham.

  • I consider it an honor, to own a guitar signed by Bonham! He walked straight up that Stairway to Heaven!

  • forever song...permanently,if it were became different far...far genaration.

This song must be World music.

  • RIP John; only Jimmy can play a 12 string electric...outrageous

  • GOTTA LOVE LED ZEPPELIN!!! ROCK ON !!!

  • IMHO, Robert's still the sexiest and spiritual man in the world! <3

  • 80s plant lol

  • Jimi's solo fukin jams on this one

  • Led Zeppelin not only ripped off all those blues artists' tunes, they also stole Stairway to Heaven from the Beatles. An audio video of the original by the Beatles is featured on my channel, for all you disbelievers

  • @MileyCyrusTrueLove

That's funny....over thirty years later and somebody who goes by "MileyCyrusTrueLove" is going to expose arguably the best kept secret in music history, that the recognized greatest rock band stole their biggest song from the recognized greatest recording band. Zepplin and the Beatles are the pinnacle of music in the past 50 years and you're suggesting that until now, millions upon millions of people who have followed both groups were never aware of this "theft"?

  • @MileyCyrusTrueLove Why u hate Led Zeppelin u fuckin noob u cant goes by "MileyCyrusTrueLove" and comment the best artist of all time now will be not other bands like Led Zeppelin,The Beatles,AC/DC AND ALL OTHER ROCK BANDS! Go Listen THAT SLUT miley cyrus and dont comment the best music in this freakin world !

  • @bot4eto32 YOU TELL UM! DON'T leave out Jimmy Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Door's,Michael Jackson, Van Halen, Joe Cocker, Gun's n Rose's, Kurt Corbain, Eric Clapton,Bob Segar, The Who and many, many other's. Miley Cyrus? OH! PLEASE! SAY IT ISN'T SO! I thought only slutty teeny bopper's liked her! She only wishe's she could sing. Don't understand music today. I have seen many of these named, in concert.Gotta say- Rockn-Roll, is the past! WE GOTTA HANG ON TO IT! NO GOOD NEWBEE'S! NOOB? FUNNY! LOL!

  • @MileyCyrusTrueLove LMAO! Are you like, 12? Hahahaha your halarious! And BTW, what they did is not called ripping off its called influenced by. :)

  • this is from live aid with phil collins on drums

  • wonderful

  • Well, not the best sound but only a Rock God can stand still with his hands on his hips and sing! I love RP's look.

  • Is this from the reunion? Bad Picture quality

  • when was this?

  • LMAO Did Robert just interrrupt Jimmy's solo?

  • Eobert Plant ...you are perfect always...

Its dificult to be a front man...

Everybody dont understand that you are human been but you dont need to prove for anyone.....you are Robert Plant from Led..

  • dont be so sad really i wonder how come yo still live

  • "Jimmy Is Stoned!" "Jimmy Is High!!" guys shut up.... He is sober jesus christ

  • Do you think that maybe, just maybe, Page might be doing a little something?

  • This is just awful

  • LOL Robert looks like the love child of David Bowie and Mick Jagger here

  • i guess jimmi's amps don't go to 11..:D

  • eran sus ultimos conciertos me supongo pero estos de zeppelin nunca dejaron de tocar asi de bien, son eternos entre los fans!

  • Damn. Jimmy Page must not of practiced this song too much before the gig.

  • @Doomzdayxx Its called ornamentation my friend. Noone plays the song perfect live so they add extra decorative notes to make it longer and better :D

  • @Doomzdayxx his pick broke if you noticed some guy came and gave him another one, but yeah he's trippin balls

  • Collins on drums?

  • whos on drums?

  • @heavymetalmaniac13

I believe that's Phil Collins (yes, Phil "feel it in the air tonight" Collins) and Tony Thompson (of Chic and Power Station)

  • The 80s was the worst thing that ever happened to Robert Plant`s hair. luckily it came back in 95 wen he and jimmy recorded No Quarter by Led Zeppelin Unledded. great album if u havent heard it.

  • @Zeppelinfan1992 i know man what happened to his pants?!

  • Live Aid?

Zeppelin, Queen and Sabbath, the best in the concert.

  • As bad as this is it is Classic!! Yea Pagey!!!!

  • haha this song is amazing but demonic haha

  • D.a.r.l.?

  • When he sings ' and I look to the west' he actually looks east ;) still amazing

  • @CyKo1MiKe maybe he is facing south, so he looks to the west.

  • @CyKo1MiKe I liked the part when he watches his compass before

  • @CyKo1MiKe you dont know to where he is looking, look to the right doesnt necessarily mean that he is looking to the west.

  • It's probably his amp or settings. There is nothing wrong with that bass.

  • Fender Precision Bass? Your dumb. That set the standard.

  • Dammm Yesss !!! :)

  • right man, BUt because thay "gay look" robert plant got so much pussy ONLY in the 70's than you will have in all your live in this planet.

  • @25utherpandragon60 I WAS IN THE SEVENTIES...HAD THE LOOK

  • damn robert plant looks so gay sometimes!

  • it was the 70's that's just the style back then.

  • @jshadow25 this is 1985

  • oops, im not really an expert. there were different styles either way.

  • i love how everyone screams!! haha

  • YES!

  • Fantastic!!!!!

  • a Grazyna mloda czy stara ? 0046706753560

  • hahahah srednia

  • the best song ever ! .........it`s true

  • Phil just makes everything better

  • is that phil collins on drums??

  • 2 drummers is cool, but still not as cool as 1 John Bonham

  • @rabidgoat777 well said

  • Two drummers and a mullet do not a Zeppelin make.

  • at 8:07 everything ok, that's the way it should be.

  • Live Aid...what a fcuking rip-off. I mean, to the people with aids.

  • what happened to robert plant? he stole the show to page

  • What happened at 8:07? Was that planned? Wasn't Page supposed to continue with the solo?

  • haha opps :p

  • And she's ............ a stairwayy to heavenn

    way awesome ending there

  • dude... he let the audience sing it... lol

  • Phill Collins es el baterista

  • Where this concert took place and how many people were there???:O:O:O:O OMG!!!!

  • Live Aid 1985!

  • donington

  • Live aid year 85. about 100 000 people

  • HQ ftw :p

  • Shirtcolor/fabric? Its pre-everything era! Thats why.

If you´re in a band and writing/singing such a song, you get away with everything. You will learn that when you get a little older.

  • ha! who the fck cares what shirt he wears...its Plant...he wears what he wants you tard, cause he has brought us such amazing music and doesn't give a sht what you might think...only serious tards look for stupid things to say...

  • kimy page y robert plant pueden ser gente normal como cualquiera peor cuando estane ne le ecenario s even como gigantes.....................los verdaderos dioses del unico gnero que se puede hacer llamar musica ROCK!

  • I agree with ratshyte too, MrTrajan69 should be shot

  • You gotta be stupid to think he's dressing like a girl... That is the way fashion wanted men to dress in those days - like have you never seen glam rockers? O_o

  • i dont see why people get wasted before a show have one or two beers before the show, then get wasted

  • where does Plant steal these little girls shirts? ever see movie Song Remains The Same? The shirt is too short, too small and IT IS A LITTLE GIRLS SHIRT!

  • probably his wife's... no offense

  • robert plant has gotten more pussy in his life then youll ever get i gurantee it haha

  • Phil Collins ROCKS- --very talented not the same as Bonham but he didnt excellent i thought!

  • wow robert looks different

  • at 8:25

did jimmy lose his pick? or even broke it? :D

    kinda funny, though :)

  • awesome song dude

    legendary band

    rock on maaan!!!

  • nobody takes dicks better than MrTrajan69. now shh,

  • well said ratshyte

  • why thankyou :)

  • then what's the point of a live performance when you play every song as it's studio version. if you think of it that waay then just stay home, listen to the record, and fuck your own face.

  • Of course live songs have better parts than studio versions. I feel though, that LedZep makes it way too drammatic. Page double picks and hammers practically every other note and it gets old quick. Wasn't this the "post heroin" -era? The spoon really cooks your talent away.

  • hahaha

  • lol how do creed and nickelback even find their way into the same paragraph as zeppelin? Of course they blow away creed and nickelback, they blow away fucking everyone.

  • It was the arrangements of the songs that always got me - Paige is a great guitar player but his strengths were far superior in composition.

  • me either...but i like how he played stairway to heaven live in 73 at madison square garden.....and robert plant looks better with long hair

  • id prefer him live tbh

  • dont like jimmy lives like saying i dont like kanye west black i love them live; studio anywere there awsome

  • this post didnt make any sense..

    Great song though :-p

  • no bloody wonder!! good song on album. jimi paige is , now dont take this personally, a fine guitarist.......but thats it....he's just ok, if your really honest he pretty much sucks on lead live !! and by the way i've been a fan of zep for over 25 years but jimi has always been over rated as a guitarist. he was brilliant 30 years ago, but even then he was way, way, behind toni iommi as far as skill goes. his legato sucks big time...did then....does now.!!!! truth hurts doesn't it !!!

  • epic. This performance brought members of duran duran to tears.

  • haha he did blow it at 8:06

  • jimmy page esta arriba de la pelota jajaj1!

  • Clearly not their best performance, but the excitement and energy of seeing these guys play their most famous song again would have been worth the price of admission for me. I can remember being blown away when I watched it on TV. And hey, Zep were never known for being tight anyways.

  • phil collins on drums!!!!!!!!

  • bonham was dead

  • this obviously wasnt Zeppelin as Bonham died already...was that Phil Collins on drums?

  • Christ! Having played this song a million damn times live, you'd think Plant would know to wait for Pages Am triplets on the 17th before coming in with some of the most badass lyrics ever! lol

He did blow it at 8:06...

  • That is funny that Plant didn't Page finish the c a e triplets and then bending the c to the d. That is how the solo ends. You think that Plant would remember that. That is what you get you when you dont practice together for 5 years. He did totally fuck it up. Funny as Shit.

  • Plant came in to early at the end. Yup, no doubt about it. He was losing his patience with Jimmy to finish up that lead. LOL

  • sirfato there the writers of the song and legends of rock they can do what ever the hell they wan't

  • My english is not good..I have a question.. When they played this concert?? What´s the year of this concert??? John bonham was alive or not ??

  • john bonham was dead, i think they played this in the mid 80's

(mi espanol es no muy bueno! jaja)

john bonham esta muerta en esto concerto, phil collins esta tocando los tambores, y creo que ellos tocaron juntos en 1985 o 1986

  • thanks my friend...you need to learn more spanish hahahaha.....!!!!

  • ahhhh come on!! my spanish isnt that bad!!

  • This was played at the LIve Aid concert in 1985, 5 years after John Bonham died. Phil Collins plays drums here, in Bonham's place.

  • its zeppelin

  • QUOTE sijordan "they refused permission for this to be included on the recent live aid dvd release. shocking performance made far worse by phil collins' appalling contribution."

I've been looking all over the place for this performance and here it is! Thanks. Even though they wouldn't put it out on dvd, I think they should have, and let the fans be the judges. this is not the best video in the world, but I can tell the song must have sounded great! love it! love them!

  • music is it

  • Love the song. hate this performance.

Plant blew it at 8:06. Im sorry all you zep heads

  • Stratosteven u stupid ****. Jimmy page was one who wrote this song, so I think that if u can make a song like this u deserve a lot respect ( Sorry My bad english, i'm finn)

  • The band wrote this song.

  • But this song would not have been absolutely the same without Jimmy Page. And I don't think that the whole band "wrote" this...

  • ""Stairway to Heaven" is a song by the English rock band Led Zeppelin. It was composed by guitarist JIMMY PAGE and vocalist Robert Plant"

    -Wikipedia- +( All other sites)

  • Oh yes poor robert!!! Big big LEd zeppelin forever and stairway the masterpiece

  • Stratosteven your are an idiot

if you think you can play better then him your wrong

he can out play you if he was asleep and drunk

  • Comment removed

  • when was this concert played?

  • It's Sad At 9:09 The Crowd Beat's Robert Plant To The Punch. TO LATE

  • JIMMY PAGE A TRUE ROCK VETERAN

  • There first show after Bonham died. Page wasn't at his best and was playing out of tune. Too bad.

  • i think it's fucking amazing how jimmy page was so waisted and he could still play the song and extend the solo with ease. and i also thinks its remarkable no matter how the sounded the fans wanted more. that tells u something. lol

  • who trhe hell is phil collins?

oh, the guy without hair.... i see ;)

  • no he's the drummer with hair. the white guy. gotta know who phil collins is cuz almost everyone does. lol its cool though man. no worries

  • its a nice song

  • omg page looks a little like angus young when hes playin the solo

  • he DID cut off his solo...

  • Good Crowd.

  • He never cut him off.

  • Plant cut it off because there time was up and guy inside told him

  • did plant just cut off jimmy?

  • holy crap your right he cut pages ass off D:< well... not that the solo wasnt goin anywhere.. they mustve been jacked up to play this sloppy

  • yeah even plant said that this performance was sloppy

  • Jimmy was really stoned there...

  • drunk, apparently..

  • Ok so first off at this point robert plant started to lose his voice which u can tell by his singing through led zeppelins 3 songs in live aid. he still had a little bit of his voice left but it wasnt completely gone. second they had bad monitors so both of jimmy pages guitars could barely be heard. and third this band is still the greatest ever to play and so is this song. and even though they didnt do so well in thus concert the fans wanted more. that tells u something. LED ZEPPELIN RULES!!!!!

  • Live Aid 1985. Collins on drums, Plant's solo album bassist plays bass. Duran Duran is around stage somewhere crying, dunno if it shows that

  • joder no parecen ellos solo jimmy page
