  • @ N4CR5 Fair point must have been hell inside, have you ever been to the Cupola site bloody hell the RAF gave that place a pounding.

  • why do most of bullet holes seem to be made by rounds going out not in?

  • @AeroNY28

Saw the same type of pillboxes in St Malo and normandy region, shot to shit. Anti tank rounds go right through them. Would've been hell inside them.

  • the maginot line was a POS french technology that got overran by the germans in 2 days. the germans knew how to attack it from behind.

  • @GoldenShellback1

They didnt attack it, they just went through the Belgium Arden Forest and completely circumvented it.

  • you got bird shit on your windshield.

  • Is that a penis? @6:03

  • The Germans did have anti tank rifle rounds, but I am unsure if they could do this. That having been said, if you look at some of the pictures, they appear as if the hole is all the way through the armor of the cupola. We also do not know for sure if the armor plate is in fact 12 inches think, or is simply two plates spaced, that had some filler between. the fact that the metal is bulging outward would indicate an exit, not an entry. Yes, there are some glancing shots, but...

  • The "bullet holes" the narrator was poking his fingers into, were exit holes, not entry holes. You can tell by the fact that the metal is protruding outward, not inward.

  • @HorseSoldier176 that depends on the impact angle

  • @HorseSoldier176 What the hell would go through 2 sets of 12 inch armour and leave holes that clean cut? Are you sure they arent just entry holes that have expelled the surrounding metal as the rounds buried itself in the outer plate?

  • Prof. Brian Cox on holiday.
