I've had the Samsung Solstice for like 6 months and I just want to get rid of it,,, at first I thought it was pretty sick but then the screen started messing up like for example when I text and I touch a letter it always came out as another letter and it freezes for no reason or it shuts down all of a sudden and sometimes it erases my contacts so I don't know about the Mythic but I just don't like the Solstice. I wouldn't get the Solstice if I was you hope this helps;)

The Mythic is going to be my very first phone. I like the look of it more, the more memory capacity, the customizable screens, and the better camera. Very cool looking phone as well. Can't wait to get it.

I actually just purchased both this week. They are almost exact, but I think I am leaning towards the Mythic because it is a little more sleek and the touchpad seems a bit better feeling although it may just be the particular phones I have. They are both really nice. Not what I expected when I purchased these outright new from Craigslist both for less than $100 each because I refused to enter another 2 year contract with ATT. Maybe not an Iphone, for us they are a far cry from the old flips

I have the Solstice and my wife has the Mythic, your review was right on. The Mythic is quite tough. On consecutive days it was left on the top of the car and dropped off at 30mph, and was was run over by the lawn mower and still works fine!

Solstice is definitely better because the phone and internet is much faster. The menu options are the same as in the Mythic, but a lot of people don't know that because they're too lazy to exit the home screen and go to the "My Stuff" tab. -.- Solstice FTW!

Solstice for me. You can custimize the widgets the dude just didn't show it. It has the same menu features they're just more hidden what is a few more secs to click MY STUFF. The screen not that mush bigger and the pictures are pretty clear plus the mythic doesn't hav zoom. The solstice internet is faster and the phone itself is faster.

Well, the Mythic is pretty much an Internet phone. It's not really messaging type. I don't know why they put it on. Unless you're getting Internet, get the Mythic. But the Impression has a good keyboard and is great for messaging.

Yay mythic!!! That is the one im getting! The menu processer takes a little longer than the solstice menu processer b/c the mythics menu has WAY more options to load. So, MYTHIC ROCKS!!

So far Solstice is looking like the one for me if I had to choose from the two. Speed usually takes preference for me over options, since I wouldn't use alot of Mythic's new features often anyways, if at all. I'd also go for speed over a shiney look (in fact, I'd prefer a non-shiney/eye candy look in general). What I wish could be done with these is customizing the widget icons themselves, which I haven't seen yet.

some ppl are saying that the solstice sux, it doesnt! the texting is easy and if you have the solstice and say the texting sux it doesnt just get use to it!! the internet is rly fast! when im on myspace or facebook everything loads quickly when u take a picture u can add a frame! but when u edit one u can add words to it:) then change the letters of the colors and do so much more:) you can also change the font of the words:) its amazing! i pick solstice
