first part is like LOTR Two Towers or Return of the King if you ever played them. Hack and slash with cinematic camera angles, this one is more like KOTOR without strong RPG element. Well, although first Knights game was soley linear action, this one had more freedom and quests, more complex. Storywise, the same in both part, you have to close the hell gate. It's ok game, if you don't have new gen console or newer hardware, try first one, and if you like it, then second, although first is better
