Damn! I still can't believe that those dogs were able to withstand that cold weather!!!!! Those dogs are amazing! Too bad I live here in sunny southern California or else I would get myself a Siberian Husky or an Alaskan Malamute.
@KingScar06 - The problem with goggles is that they get plastered with snow and then you can't see. The fur ruff on my hood deflects the wind so it doesn't bother my eyes, but I do have to pull the ice off my eyelashes constantly.
It was about -50 or -60 Fahrenheit with the windchill. I usually don't stay outside the tent too long and we don't travel unless we have to in these conditions. The dogs just curl up and put their muzzles under their tails and sleep. They never have any trouble. They stay comfortable.
Huskies are gorgeous dogs, I love it when they dig into the snow and lay there.

You didn't seem to wear anything on your eyes. Won't it be really painful and dangerous to expose your eyes in those temperatures?

Now that's livin'! Gotta love the Northern dogs. Is there something horribly wrong with me that this looks like a great way to spend time?

I cannot wait to do an internship there one day. I will however purchase some inuit furs for weather like that.

@NameTaken1000 there is no internship that will get you into this kind of situation, only being crazy enough to live up there lol.
