  • You can kinda tell the infrastructure hasn't been upgraded for quite a few decades.

  • WHO GOES 55 IN MICHIGAN ON AN INTERSTATE!

  • Very cool. The C/D setup reminds me of the collector/express system on Highway 401 in Toronto.

  • @haljackey Thanks a lot! Yeah it's similar, but Toronto's offers many more chances to switch between the lanes, and is actually set up on a suitable freeway! I-96 would not be the freeway in Detroit that needs this system the most, in my opinion. Glad you liked it!

  • Awsome video man, I'm going to be dropping one this weekend from detroit to toronto... look out for it...

  • @bmbsage Link me! I look forward to it.

  • Excellent job! loved the old style stack at 2:05 and it looks like MDOT did a nice job at the I-75/Ambassador Bridge area. Nice work with the signs too!

  • @Freewayjim They really did. It's not done yet, the bridge will be so much more easily accessible to truckers when they finally finish. That old stack looks really good from M-39, but it's going to be a gridlock until they finish the construction in November, so I can't really shoot it yet. The signs are a pain, but worth it, thanks Jim!

  • man i gotta learn how to use vegas so i can get those words in the blue bars on videos so i dont have to use the youtube annotations nice job on the video i really like it

  • @IntuneGames I'm using PowerDirector 9. It's really simple, as long as you have a good handle on Photoshop for your images. Message me if you ever need pointers!

  • @HighwayStar1982 you ever try editing with corel videostudio ?

it is a great program for editing. Powerdirector 9 is good I used it...

  • Thanks for the ride! As often as I drive on I-96, I've never driven the stretch between I-275 and I-75.

  • @irw08 It's actually one of the nicest drives in the area. You should take a detour through there sometime!

  • thats what im talkn about . excellent video

  • @ScrewdUPClickV2 Thanks man!!

  • That's a pretty good song, might use it one of mine sometime (lol). I also liked what you did with the titles this time, overall nice video. What I think sets Detroit from the others is the overall theming, with the light blue bridges and ramps, as well as the midwestern feel of being in the sunken in freeway.

  • @FreewayTitan Thanks! That song is off the new Tiesto album. It was released a few weeks ago, and this track was the only one that fit this video length perfectly. Check it out, it's very solid.

Detroit's freeways are all sunken, yes. The bridges still are stuck in like the late 70's, and I have a feeling MDOT will never change that. I sorta like it...and hope they don't!

    Thanks for the comment!

  • @FreewayTitan you know houston has that very same feature on some of the beltway interchanges.

  • @ScrewdUPClickV2 The light blue? I never have seen that outside of the midwest. That's pretty cool!

  • @HighwayStar1982 its not as clear and defined in the overall magnitude of color , however you will see with striped segements.

  • @ScrewdUPClickV2 Being into the ground like that? I didn't see anything like that in H-Town.

  • Wow did someone had an accident at 3:53? Great video

  • @interstateruler Thanks! Pause it as I pass by, you can see the guy in handcuffs bending over...it's hilarious, just not for him!
