These birds are adorable but they have become a plague in some places and a lot of them are getting killed to prevent the extinction of local birds. Please, do not have foregin animals as pets, its very sad having to kill/capture animals that have been introducted accidentally by humans. If your country has wild house sparrows, im sure you can enjoy making a feeder for them and hanging it outside.
