Why do people run their bikes in a closed garage to show how it sounds? I can't speak for others, but I like to ride mine outside. I's a great looking Nightster, but fire it up outside.
what size risers... im about to put my 29" broomstick on and i just wanted a reference to how big the risers should be... Honestly I don't want any risers but people tell me the mirrors will hit the tank... is this true??
Just the stock risers...the bars are 27" stock sportster bars that I painted black. The mirrors once they're flipped just have to be adjusted a little so they dont hit the tank. It's close but it works!
I no longer have this bike any more though. I traded up for a VRSC Nightrod Special. I'll post a video soon on that one it's even louder than the sportster!
No i didn't pain them I installed the slip-ons first, clamped them and then wrapped. I actually went right over the clamp. All I did was cut a small slit to slide the wrap over the clamp its a little tricky to line it up right but it ended up working. Hope this helps!
No the original shields are off completely. The chrome showing on the exhaust are the heat shields that came with my new slip-ons. Just the pipe itself is the only thing wrapped
The drag bars are just sitting on the stock risers and you can turn all the way without hitting. It's close but won't hit. I did take the heat shields off when I wrapped them. However I did put the heat shields on over the mufflers only to give it a better look.
nice i plan on getting the drag bars this year.. do they affect your turning at all or hit your tank when they are that low? the set-up i saw has like 3in. risers for the drag bars?
No not at all...I haven't had a chance to ride a long ways with them yet but I don't see any problems b/c I don't have to reach that far. Thanks for the comments!
An ask. Can you see something in flipped down mirrors? No jokes, im serious. Thanks

What's the width and pullback on those bars? I can't decide between 26" or 30" and I wanted to get an in-context view
