I believe its actually best that the frame would be the first to give in any situation, that way the drivetrain, differential, engine, etc. have stress taken off of them. Especially when you have a very expensive motor sitting in a simple tube frame
i gotta agree with jburrows on that, a pair of down tubes connecting from halfway down the cage to half way down the rails would do a great deal to stiffen the frame and prevent twisting. its called triangulation, same as all the triangulation between the tubing on the sides.
that frame looks pretty flimly for something making that much tourque and horsepower, and im sure its super thick walled tubing but it just seems like it would do the trick
John O. told me about this vid at temple hill....I just seen it. Im glad you guys did this it shows the complex effort and the final payoff in the end. outstanding job
At the end of the video watch the dumbass walk up to the tractor with the little kid in his arms.......nice safety at the track....what was he thinking????
thank god for that hoist

Where do they get the fenders for these tractors. I have seen lots of brands running these. Very nice tractor.
bigbird2461 3 years ago
These particular fenders are stock John Deere, but several guys get them custom made.

you have to know that there is 8000lb or more coming down on the frame though.
farmall99 3 years ago
Actually, there is 6000 lbs in this particular case.
LittleAce94 3 years ago
still that is a WHOLE lot of weight.
