Is there a Finnish translation of this song? The English translation in question is as close to the classical Soviet version in Russian as possible. Obviously, the translator has to take certain liberties at times :)))
@SovietSongsInEnglish This is a site that we are making to help people to learn languages. If you put "WikiTranslate Миллион алых роз" in Google you will see the page and your video is on the page. Our translation of the song is not very good yet :( I am a Russian teacher and not a singer :( and not a translator :( I think that your translation of the song will help someone to learn English and Russian :) Thank you!

Hmm... Sadly songs arent the same in every language... for example
Anywhere, anywhere, anywhere, she could turn,
Everything in the square down below blooming red.
part in finnish is:
Million million milloin roses.
Smels like, smells like smells like love.

In the Russian version, these lines are "A million, million, million scarlet roses is what you can see from your window"

Yes, it was later adopted for Alla Pugachova. The lyrics underwent significant changes.

@SovietSongsInEnglish I take it these are lyrics translated literally? As you wouldnt sing the chorus as written, its far too clumsy:
anywhere, anywhere, she could turn
everything in the square blooming red
those in love, those in love, those in love, she would learn
gladly leave, for a glance instead
is a less clumsy effort
