  • Oh for fuck's sake, now I want crisps AND I HAVE NONE.

Thank you Stewart. You've made me hungry.

    I CAN'T EVEN AFFORD CRISPS.

Thank god I can afford caps lock.

  • brilliant...just brilliant!...I love this guy

  • hes one of those comedians that really grows on you i only started watching him about a month ago and at first sort didnt like him too much but somehow hes now my favourite comedian

  • Breath

  • KD Lang looks awful these days.

  • Morrisey's let himself go

  • for any Americans watching crisps = chips :)

  • I love this episode.

  • the people who don't like Stewart Lee are the same tedious bores that bother going to clips of his stand-up on youtube to whine about how they don't like them.

  • Frankie Boyle has some real nerve, slagging off a comedy legend, especially after "tramadol nights"

  • Was that Armando Iannucci in the beginning of the episode?

  • @23otaku Yep!

  • @23otaku sure was

  • @23otaku yes, he's the exec producer.

  • One person dislikes crisps. crisps. crisps. crisps.

  • criSSSpSSS

  • Armando is a legend... that doctor doctor joke made me choke with laughter.

  • "Not everything is a joke. Not in this show."

    Gold.

  • In soviet Russia, Stewart lee judges You.

  • I'm both frustrated and proud that so many people don't get Stew.

  • @toxicpj do you know why you would feel proud?

  • @jackjude that's a pretty ambiguous question. Proud to be working on a higher level than the McIntyre heretics.

  • @toxicpj McIntyre is a safe TV personality and family entertainer, there's something to be said for an act which a family can sit down in front of and have a laugh. Ironically the funniest thing I've seen Involving McIntyre, is that I noticed on a freeview channel, Ross Kemp's On Gangs was scheduled directly before McIntyre's Toughest Towns.

  • @jackjude Ross Kemp's? Has he been cloned to create more shit tv? Your grammar is appauling throughout that reply, I don't understand anything past "Ironically", you say you like him then you take the piss out of his work by saying Donal McIntyres program was funnier OR the idea was funny. WTH!?

  • @toxicpj Sorry, my grammar was appalling? Not really, I possibly a omitted comma. I never said I liked McIntyre... which you for some reason assumed I do. (But hey, you probably think Lee hates him to a borderline psychotic degree) The 'ironic' bit alludes to...yes, the idea and the comedian's involvement only in name. "Ross Kemp's" is not a plural (!?) it's a possessive, as in it's his show.

  • @jackjude Also, SHUT THE FUCK UP you can barely form a sentence. Don't bother replying.

  • @toxicpj wtf?..lol

  • @jackjude it's called ross kemp on gangs. ross kemp's on gangs doesn't work, the shows not called "On gangs", it's Ross Kemp On Gangs. Ross Kemp finding out about gangs, he doesnt own a show called "On Gangs".

  • @toxicpj I intended it as a comic inflection to tie in with McIntyre's Toughest Towns. Doesn't really work; but hey, the whole thing was intended as light hearted. I have no issue with MM, as he ain't my cup of tea, a trite, unoffensive TV comedian, probably similar how SL see's him - it's just amusing to paint him as a scourge, via entertaining hyperbole and playful invective...for comic effect. SL is a very intelligent guy but I don't think it follows that his audience are required to be.

  • When I see this man on TV, I turn over...he is a fatman and a badman

  • @jackjude I bet he'd be gutted to hear that.

  • @comanchio1976 ...I apologise, I wouldn't want him to hear/read my comments and make him sad, so maybe it is my taste and I should leave it so.

  • @jackjude He is a fatman and a badman? SMH.. You are EXACTLY the kind of people that dont deserve the pleasure and privilege to experience this genius.... Infact you dont even deserve to know he exist... That level of Humor is too much for your brain to take in.. My little silly friend, the jokes are there.. They are there.. You might just have to raise your game abit!!! Stick to Russell Brand or any of the other Russell's and keep that nice little brain of yours Numb.

  • @GQmensah ...There a good article in the Guardian called 'How the internet created an age of rage' featuring Stuart Lee. Well worth a read

  • @jackjude i'm glad idiots dont get him.

  • @TECHNOID69 ...that's part of the appeal

  • ....

    And now I want crisps.

  • @username777777777779 The job of bitter misogynist bigot is Davidson's for life I reckon. He's a million times better than Davidson. What you said merely advertises how stupid you are, of course you wont be able to see that...precisely because you're so stupid.

  • whats really funny with this is the interviewer is actually funnier than stewart lee

  • Genius. Absolutely stunning work, consistently.

  • i ate some crisps while watching this at 4am. i am supposed to be on a diet. i am a fat fuck.

  • The best UK comedian working today.

  • @adamtzsch best anywhere..genius.

  • @adamtzsch You missed the "is Daniel Kitson" part off that. Lee is a close second mind.

  • @adamtzsch Then who's the best not working today?

  • @adamtzsch I like how you left that open ended. As both Stewart Lee and Iannucci are the (joint) best. Congrats

  • @adamtzsch Stewart is very clever, but I would put Jimmy Carr above him.

    I love both.

  • criSPS!

  • I wish he would do more tours here in the states. I'd likely be the only one in the room laughing, but who cares...fucking brilliant this guy. And thank you for posting these. I never would have discovered Stewart Lee if it weren't for YouTube.

  • brilliant

  • Please please put up the whole series. I can watch this over and over again.

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for uploading this! I live in Australia so this is the only way I can get my Stewart Lee hit.

  • @CanineFeces2 many thanks, i go on holiday the day before the last episode, can u please put that on, so that i can enjoy it abroad. cheers

  • Stewart Lee: 41st best stand up perhaps but best ever meta stand up.

  • really appreciate you sharing these videos, been waiting for this for ages, cheers from san diego

  • What the??...

They've really snuck this on telly without fanfare haven't they! I've been hoping Stew would get another run. His stand up is top! Just had no idea it was on. Good ol' YouTube.

  • @TheMon1002 Yeah the bbc really haven't done much to advertise the program, they dont have trailers for it or anything so i think alot of people who might watch it don't even realise it's on. It's on bbc2 on Wednesdays at 11:20pm

  • Best show ever.
