  • You have tone arm and ink arm

  • Thorens turntables are wonderful and yours is/was a gem! They invented and perfected the floating table. Whatever some may think of the various components I have always used all Thorens parts. I've tried other heads (they came with it) and have always returned to the Thorens head. Styli choices vary and I've Pickering, Shure and others. I prefer voice coil but have also used moving magnets. I've had five of them over the years and now have a TD165 and a TD145. Both function flawlessly.

  • Damn beautiful TT, Imagine some cool blue LEDs under it if they wouldn't create an RF signal.

  • Molto bello. 5*

  • You can afford a nice turntable like that, but not a decent camera?

  • Actually, I got the turntable for free and have since sold it to a collector who could appreciate it more than I could.

  • @monet3500 ARE YOU NUT!!!!! YOU SOLD IT? LOL

  • I , i , é bunitinho ..

  • That looks like the arm of Kerry King from Slayer.

  • nice turntable. but seems the first time you're putting a record on...

  • i don't know if the camera is too blame. Maybe bad encoding too. Cool table though. Love Thorens tables.

  • what's the difference between this turntable and a technics ? which is better ?

  • ....as well as having a very low quality video. Invest a little in a camera, buddy!

    Still, a wonderful wonderful turntable.

  • C'mon... you've got that turntable and you're listening to Croce? Not that there is anything really all that wrong with Croce besides being a bit boring, but you might as well listen to that on CD or mp3.

  • your arm is so sexy

  • Nice turntable, needs a new string or, worse, a new motor, it's a bit slow........

  • Great Thorens turntable!! Take off the Thorens arm, no good!, put a SME 3009 arm on, that's what I did with my Thorens TD-160, it blows the Thorens arm away in sound quality, the SME arm would look spectacular with it's shiny metal against the clear base, WOW!!!! Love my TD-160 with SME!!

  • My favorite Jim Croce song (at the beginning)! Awesome turntable, dude.
