Hi Lisa, I am considering buying the Missha Cho Bo Yang. I am already using the Missha Perfect Cover but would like to try the Cho Bo Yang. I am just wondering which shade to get 1 or 2. I am usually NC25 in Mac and I have #23 in the Perfect Cover so which would you recommend for the Cho Bo Yang? Thanks so much :))

Hi, Lisa! Have you tried the Mesmer-Eyes Mascara by Napoleon Perdis? It has a comb applicator, similar to the Maybeline mascara that you like. It's kind of pricey ($25) at Ulta. you're really tempting me with that giorgio armani master corrector! i just recently splurged and bought two armani eyes to kill shadows (my first high end purchases!). i do have bad under eye circles. is it worth the money? i'm looking into a new concealor.
BB creams make my face feel great....almost what it would be if you could put MAC Painterly all over your face (in a good way). It just evens everything out so nicely!
I'm sure youve answered this somewhere else and I hate to have you repeat yourself but if you get a chance let me know where you ordered your BB cream from. I'd really love to try it myself.

Lisa, I know that Maybelline has a mascara with the fine toothed comb instead of the brush. Sometimes if I find a brush from one mascara that really works for me I will wash it and use it with other masccaras whose formulation I like better. This seems to work well for me. Just a thought. I can't remember the name of the Maybelline comb mascara but I have seen it on a poster above their mascaras where they show the mascaras and brushes. Another thought is disposable wands from beauty supplies.
Hey Lisa ! Loved this video. It inspired me to take my time with my makeup yesterday and it was so worth it. I felt " pretty " all day!! :). I got the Chanel cake liner yesterday. ( my first Chanel purchase)!!! I'm really excited. Got the cute little bag and everything. I wanted to share that QVC has a new smashbox BB cream out now. Only on QVC til end of aug I think. I just got mine yesterday. Seems really nice. SPF 35 and comes in 4 shades. Around $30 I think?? It's a rainy day in Myrtle. H

Be careful of buying bb creams on ebay or amazon! A lot of them are fakes and could possibly contain ingredients that are not so good for your skin. There are several blog posts that show you how to check that yours is real. Love your videos Lisa! I really enjoy learning about new brands and products from you.

Lisa, where do you get the infamouse Cho Bo Yang cream? How would I know what color to use? I am currently a light L3 in smashbox HD foundation.. Is it good for dry, sensitive skin? I love your videos, they are all very informative and you describe the products you use so well! I haven't tried the loose powder for LM but I use their primer and it's good stuff! **also, great tip to "tap" on blush,, not swipe-- i tend to over do it w/ my blush and end up looking sunburned. @LisaLisaD1 I think TheMakeupgirl97 has a legitimate question- Skin type matters when taking recommendations. I can see her point because in the video your skin is highly reflective which would indicate either oily skin or reflective product & lighting. For instance I have dry skin and something that works for someone with quite oily skin would not likely work for me. So I'm wondering the answer to her question as well. A more polite way of asking would have been: What is your skin type?
I am so happy I saw this tutorial because I wanted to purchase the BB cream and I was concerned that I was too tanned because my color is the classic beige you are using in the tutorial. I love the idea of using my shade of Laura Mercier loose powder to set the BB cream and use it to match my skin. :) I think I'm trying that combo when I run out of my regular make-up.

Try "Majolica Majorca Lash Expander". It's more of a curved brush but it has similar brush like the lash stylish. I'm not sure if you'll be able to get a hold of it since it's more of an Asian brand but it is an branch of Shiseido! :-)

Love this application for eyeshadow! Glad you like the Smashbox Champagne, although smashbox is getting rid of all their single eyeshadows which is super dissapointing! I'm off to shoppers to pick up the clinique shadow now :)

i love that trick for applying your shadow. it's funny how a simple change in brush direction can put shadow exactly where you want it. love the look and the dress and for the record i loved the other dress too. i thought it was perfect for a hot day. just the thing for when you don't want to "reveal" but still be cool and comfy. take care lisa and have a great week.

Geez .. now I gotta make out a wish list. Lisa, you really should try the Clinique lip glosses. That's all I wear, especially during the summer because lipsticks just melt in my purse. I've tried high end lip glosses (Chanel, Dior, YSL) and honestly the Clinique ones are just as good and half the price.

Did you say it was Clinique you used? I believe Loreal and Maybeline do the Mascaras with the Brush you are loving so much.Actually I think Rimmel does them too. I am still on the lookout for the perfect undereye concealer.JUst googled the cle de peau and it has been discontinued :-(( Funny how pulling faces realy does distract from blinking ha ha. You're right about the Midnight eyeshadow. I bought it and tried it on at home and it blends so well. And I can't wait to try the Armani master corrector on my friend for her wedding. She was born with really really really dark under eye circles.

Rimmel has a mascara with the exact same comb wand. I cannot remember the name but it has a hot pink lid on a black tube. I used it all year last year it was a real good formula too.Hope this helps.
@makeupvirgin81 It was Rimmel Lash Maxxx. I got it too last year and I didn't like it as much. But I guess I could have worked with it and paired it with another mascara.

Hi lisa, a quick question,do u have comb. Skin,or does it tend to get some shine,n not were its gets real oily. Cuz my skin tends to get shine within 3-4 after haveing my make up on. So my question is,what do u prefer for women wit oily skin?
By the way do you know If laura mercier classic beige is darker then natural beige? I have rich vanilla but for some reason after I apply it it gives me (pink undertones) but I have yellow undertones.

Thanks for sharing! I love how you get that dark mole on your cheek covered so well. I didn't see you use any extra concealer on it, how do you do that? I have a flat dark mole on the side of my cheek that I would like to get covered that well!

Lisa, where do you get the infamouse Cho Bo Yang cream? How would I know what color to use? I am currently a light L3 in smashbox HD foundation.. Is it good for dry, sensitive skin? I love your videos, they are all very informative and you describe the products you use so well! I haven't tried the loose powder for LM but I use their primer and it's good stuff! **also, great tip to "tap" on blush,, not swipe-- i tend to over do it w/ my blush and end up looking sunburned. LOL

@LisaLisaD1 I think TheMakeupgirl97 has a legitimate question- Skin type matters when taking recommendations. I can see her point because in the video your skin is highly reflective which would indicate either oily skin or reflective product & lighting. For instance I have dry skin and something that works for someone with quite oily skin would not likely work for me. So I'm wondering the answer to her question as well. A more polite way of asking would have been: What is your skin type?

I am so happy I saw this tutorial because I wanted to purchase the BB cream and I was concerned that I was too tanned because my color is the classic beige you are using in the tutorial. I love the idea of using my shade of Laura Mercier loose powder to set the BB cream and use it to match my skin. :) I think I'm trying that combo when I run out of my regular make-up.

Try "Majolica Majorca Lash Expander". It's more of a curved brush but it has similar brush like the lash stylish. I'm not sure if you'll be able to get a hold of it since it's more of an Asian brand but it is an branch of Shiseido! :-)

Love this application for eyeshadow! Glad you like the Smashbox Champagne, although smashbox is getting rid of all their single eyeshadows which is super dissapointing! I'm off to shoppers to pick up the clinique shadow now :)

i love that trick for applying your shadow. it's funny how a simple change in brush direction can put shadow exactly where you want it. love the look and the dress and for the record i loved the other dress too. i thought it was perfect for a hot day. just the thing for when you don't want to "reveal" but still be cool and comfy. take care lisa and have a great week.

Geez .. now I gotta make out a wish list. Lisa, you really should try the Clinique lip glosses. That's all I wear, especially during the summer because lipsticks just melt in my purse. I've tried high end lip glosses (Chanel, Dior, YSL) and honestly the Clinique ones are just as good and half the price.

Did you say it was Clinique you used? I believe Loreal and Maybeline do the Mascaras with the Brush you are loving so much.Actually I think Rimmel does them too. I am still on the lookout for the perfect undereye concealer.JUst googled the cle de peau and it has been discontinued :-(( Funny how pulling faces realy does distract from blinking ha ha. You look very pretty.Don´t care for negativity.It´s about you and how YOU feel !

You're right about the Midnight eyeshadow. I bought it and tried it on at home and it blends so well. And I can't wait to try the Armani master corrector on my friend for her wedding. She was born with really really really dark under eye circles.

Yay, thanks Lisa! After watching your video yesterday, I loved the eyes so much I did it for work today....so smple, but so pretty! I used Smashbox Platinum and Typographic, it worked fine. I'm so sad that I just truly believe I will never master the winged eye though! I've got "Lisa Winged Eye Envy", lol!

Rimmel has a mascara with the exact same comb wand. I cannot remember the name but it has a hot pink lid on a black tube. I used it all year last year it was a real good formula too.Hope this helps.
