  • awesome vid! heading up to the Cape in June this yr with our GQ. cant wait! Cant believe what these Yank idiots are saying, Little do they know that the telegraph track was built in the 1880s and is apart of Australian History. Its a great experience that everyone shoutd see. Beaut spots and beaut 4x4ing!

  • @00BECKLES00 I might see you up there. Im hopefully going up again, this time towing a camper trailer. Around June/July.

  • ..."shit, omg,omg!"....

If u close ur eyes and just listening... OMG !

  • Smart idear with the strap

  • Long live the GQ!!

  • @dirtysanchezzzable Agreed!

  • I think the car looked scared at one stage there.

  • Nice Video Mate! Gotta love the patrol! never mind this silly yank wankers, most of them can count their iq on one hand so dont listen to them! Top vid and nice driving

  • Good work mate. I want to do the telegraph track before it gets closed. But, I'm an apprentice atm and can't exactly take a month off work :( 2 more years and then I'll do it :D

  • Nothing stops the Mighty GQ Nissan Patrol !!!

  • damn man! that truck is beautiful!!! and nice job, dont need to pull cable for that :D! i would love a nissan patrol, but sadly i cant get em over here in the US! so instead i got a jeep cherokee i been working on! great vid!

  • The more of these vids by you folks in Australia....the more I see there are a lot of fuckin' dumbass people in Australia. I thought America had the dumbest people on the planet...but I think you mates down under might have the US beat. I cant believe the amazingly stupid shit I see Australians doing in these vids.

  • @mechiefslapahobitch say what troll?

  • @mechiefslapahobitch What exactly are you referring to mate?

  • @mechiefslapahobitch How about I judge Americans on shit I avoid watching on TV like COPS etc. You label an entire nation based on the actions of a few thrillseekers in 4WD's. A little harsh. We both have our share of idiots, just that there are lots more of you and ergo more idiots. I think these guys are nuts risking their vehicles like this but it's not my money and they aren't hurting anybody else.

  • hahahaha

  • Very responsible there, good on ya mate!

  • Nerves of freaking steal!

  • why do people gronk on every 4wd movie saying how their way is better when some times it might be but it is up to the driver at the time and his choice of approach

  • I would have suggested getting the winch cable out before attempting that, but he got away with it luckily.

  • @MrScienceandReason Ummm it is out, its hanging over the top bar of my bullbar, between my spot lights!! But thanks for trying!

  • @dingabell1984 No worries, My screen resolution is set to low to save bandwidth. I missed it. :)

  • well done mate. all these idiots can say what they want but when it comes down to it you did it sensibly and didnt break nething. i have a gq aswell and would love to do the telegraph track

  • @KrysnAsh13 Ta!! Definately make the time and do it. You wont forget the trip!! Take a decent amount of time to do it though. At least 3 weeks up there I reckon.

  • nicely done hey....

  • @vampyresteve Thanks mate!

  • Looked like it was stuck but got through ok in the end.

  • Amateurs! The best way is to floor it in highrange with a mass run up and just sail over the top! Lol, but your way's good too ;)

  • @matgonjinn I'll remember that next time I'm in someone/elses vehicle

  • Nice. When everyone in the background started cheering and clapping, I was like "wooo, lets all cheer for the guy that did something that could have been done in a golf cart" lol. Dont mean to troll, just thought it was funny lol

  • @93SaturnSL1 Does your mum and dad know your on the computer?

  • Nicely done mate!

  • that was so cool

  • He was no doubt a little nervous, give the guy some credit. Not everyone wants to fuck their car up.

  • where they towing the white truck or was it spotting him?

  • @ClassicCountryBoy1 Spotting.

  • So I guess a short wheelbase high clearance knid of vehicle would not be favorable here to a longer wheelbase?

  • @stop2think I think either type of vehicle would get through no problems.

  • @TheGr8scott, well your not so Gr8 then are you!!! Dumb would have been blazing into it like an idiot instead of taking time to assess the situation. That's 4 wheel driving how it's supposed to be done!!!

  • jungle family

  • Now that... was dumb!

  • @TheGr8scott Im not sure if your referring to your very own "comment" or my vid!! Either way, I dont really care.

  • @dingabell1984 You have found a use for a Poojero, Good on ya mate.

  • Just wondering if you have a video of the pajero in the background doin this?

  • Respectable!

  • Through what i have seen, i have done the old telgraph track 3 times in a GQ patrol, the patrol is an incredible vehicle thats accomplishes tasks many other vehicles cannot

  • @Xenomorph1993 Mate I agree!!! Sensational vehicle. I hope I can keep my for a fair while longer as they can cope a beating.

  • Sick

  • Sweet

  • Superb..thnx..frm India..

  • ma voi state malissimo

  • Sensible. Cautious. Responsible. Well done. You see so many muppets these days tearing up tracks and crossings, giving the rest of our 4wd community a bad name. This folks, is how you tread lightly.

  • @mmmmdeliciousbacon All too true. 4wding seems to have gone from sensible driving in tough terrain to putting some fully sick tyres on, ya monster energy decals and flinging mud everywhere like a tosser

  • Nice job! I got bogged to the chassis rails doing gunshot coming south

  • Maybe one of these days I will. That's hard core off road adventure. I may want to start with easier ones.

  • Awesome off road driving here brother. I'm inspired.

  • @dragonvue09 Get inspired and get up there to the cape!!

  • Great Drivng Mate! Its changed a bit since I was there in 1995! (although I took the chicken track!)

  • Good job on the descent. I'm curious, is this the ONLY way to go down or is this an optional route? My apologies on behalf of my ignorant brothers from this side of the pond. We seem to think that USA has the only good wheeling in this planet!

    Cheers, from New Mexico, USA.

  • @alia176 Hey mate thanks for the post. No apology needed. To answer your question, there is an alternative way, which would mean back tracking and then taking the longer way round. We felt that we could all get through this particular spot, which we all did with out any problems.

  • @alia176 You can go a easier way which doesn't have all the 4x4ing to get to the tip. THis is just for mad 4x4ers..

  • wow you need some mud tyres and a lift on that old patrol.

  • @x0thraxxorx0 It is lifted and has a/t tyres. It's setup for touring. Given the amount of highway kms I do in it, it HAS to have good on road manners. Any more than 2-3 inch is pointless for what I do. I might get some muddies at some stage though for the next tyre purchase.

  • That really ain't that bad, but if that's all y'all have to do down there, make the best with what you got. Here in the USA, we got the Rubicon, Moad, etc. :)

  • @BrentwoodRedneck Ofcourse you would think you have the best offroad tracks and feel the urge to share you opinion Clearly you actually believe no country can compare to the USA so enjoy watching videos from the states.

  • @dingabell1984 That would be correct, and I will do so :) Thank you for your permission :)

  • @dingabell1984 best response I have seen in a long time on any video :)

  • @BrentwoodRedneck not trying to be rude,, but dont worry mate, we have tracks here in Australia that compare to Moab and Rubicon. This is a just commonly used trail by Australian families on road trips to the northern tip of Australia. And as a modified Jeep Driver and lover myself, I would love to do Rubicon and Moab some day.

  • @cowboyzed Very nice :) Sounds like y'all got some good stuff down there :) What are the names of the trails that can compare to Rubicon and Moab? I wanna look them up :)

  • if not steeper!!

  • u dingos need to stop worrying and gasping lol, its just a drop off, ive been down 90foot high dunes that are just as steep n nothings ever gone wrong, patrols and safaris are pretty safe trucks

  • PUES MI TOYOTA 4.5 PASA LO Q SEA TAMBIEN ES 2004

  • i need to find some stuff like that but idk if my ramcharger would even fit haha. way to do it safe tho props for that one

  • @V12CAMARO Ram charger!! I agree I done think it would fit on this track. Big machine those things. Would love the motor from one though.

  • @V12CAMARO Ram charger!! I agree I done think it would fit on this track. Big machine those things. Would love the motor from one though.

  • well done , that is a steep one i know how it feels from inside the cabin .

I like the fact that you starpped your truck to the one behind , enjoying it safely

  • yeh.. sorry haha yeh im lookin for 4wd and some good 4wd tracks.

  • is this sorta nojee way off old telegraph road?? or crossover??

  • @sam1995bro Nojee?? Crossover??

Mate this is gunshot, which is on the old telegraph track.

  • clearly his wife with the camera hahahahaha

thinking about the insurance claim hahaha

  • @theunexplanatory Yeah mate was the wife talking on the video. And no need for insurance as there was no damage sustained.

  • Patrol is real offroad truck!!!

  • @Kandalf8989 Yes it is.

  • @Kandalf8989 But there is only one jeep:) haha. The patrol is a great car though!

  • Well done! Great vid thanks

  • @PaddyWackem @datsuncomfort @nooki1102

Thanks for your comments guys. Check out some of my other vids - Theres a few there from the old telly track and the fenchmans track.

  • did the pajero head around gunshot instead or just no footage?

  • @Jipby54 Unfortunately no footage of it. It ate it up though!!

  • Thanks mate!! Gotta play it safe!

  • big thumbs up for the safe way you approached that. Not many people would have thought of attaching the car to another car to avoid a disaster.

  • @stingers1 Thanks mate.

  • @stingers1 I'm sitting here wondering how the car at the back managed to get down... :-)

  • well done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks for the comments! We hooked a snatch strap to the rear as there was a steep drop off on the rear left wheel which could claim a vehicle. So as a precaution we used the strap to prevent sideway slip. Thats why it took so long to drive off, because I had to wait for the snatch strap to be unhitched.
