I must say everytime I tell some1 im from mauritius, they'll be like, "why da hell u left mauritius for this shit place?" the other day i was in a queue n i overheard a concerstion where someone said"where were u, hvnt seen u for a while". the guy replied "I was in the most beautiful country in the world, mauritius". I felt so proud! for this reason I dont really care that some fagots dare to call my country mudertious! GET A LIFE, HATER!

I just got offered to do a fashion show in Mauritius, my own show! showing my own designs on the beach and in hotels! even to have my own TV advertisement! I didnt know much about it until i watched this video and realised it was the most beautiful place ive ever seen in my life.

Its too bad im not old enough to leave the country alone, or i would be over there right away! ah well, gives me more time to design and create amazing clothes! hopefully someday :)

@mrchopper2010 These three horrible people do not represent the population of Mauritius. It is like any other country, with its good and bad. It is very sad that this happened to this lovely couple and these three pathetic losers are even more hated here in Mauritius than in Ireland. The population of Mauritius as a whole is very saddened by this and it is unfair to put everyone in the same basket. Tourists have been coming to Mauritius for years and so many have gone with good memories.

Most of tourists that come to visit mauritius have their own stories. Lots of them have been mugged, molested , lost valuables in hotel rooms, etc. Your local newspapers even reported many of those incidents.

Ived lived in the united kingdom for a few years and experienced violence, racism, got mugged, had my laptop stolen from by room by chavs and many more sad stories, but it is not because of that that I will treat all British people the same. On the otherside, I met some amazing people, saw a different culture and look back at my time there with fond memories of the good times. Mauritius comes with its good and bad shades as well.

My late grandpapa was born on this island..with his siblings.. His mama died..and his anglo french papa. Brought him and the children to French Louisiana. I went to school here in the 1980's..as a little girl. I cant wait to return to see old friends and family...Swinye-toi
