@naeram - too funny. zoe saldana didn't really dance the part. it was a popular black ballerina from a major ballet company...i can't remember her name. if you notice, the close-ups were few and far between. but the jodie character was actually dancing the part.

@PhillyChickNaomi when i was younger i just assumed they were clapping for her because she was the main character haha being a silly kid and not really understanding the movie but now that i'm older i realise and i agree with you that they were probably clapping for her because she was becoming a principle :)
