  • My god if they sounded this good live during the Sorry Ma days then they must've sounded like gods during the Let It Be era. Shame that the only vids of them with Bob live are this concert and 3 low quality vids from the Hootenanny era.

  • The Matts in all their glory for all the world to see. Finally.

  • better than any punk band

  • @Jedi4531 they were a punk band so idk what ou are talking about.

  • Bob!!!

  • 50% of nirvana is it, great

  • how did morrissey get all the gangsters for fans?

  • best band ever

  • oh.... H yeah.. this shit is kickin. This is dope dumb bro bros. I only like recent southern rap like Lil Flip, the new boyz, and music like this from 80s. This shit and like Mission to burma. Does you Smell me Dugans?

  • This proves that on a good night, the Mats were the best band on the freakin' planet. Pure gold!

  • Wow.

  • fuck me i wish i could have been at this gig.

  • This is the Replacements at their best. Yo Ma Forgot to Take Out the Trash is by far the 'Mats best album.

  • by far?there is 3 sectons to the mats and they are slash/very good burn/2,-hoot enanny is my farorite.i thnk tim could be their best album,it was recorded out of whac-somewhat.

please to meet me is the best (for me....)

  • sorry ma

  • "there music changed so much..it wasnt even punk" geez punk isnt a type of music its a way of thinking.

  • The Replacements best record might be Let it Be but I'd rather hear Pleased to meet me (with Alex Chilton/Can't Hardly Wait) and Tim (bastards of young/Left of the dial). and don't tell a soul has Talent show/back to back) then this early punk .. The first three Cds were punk but if you want great lyrics and melodies .. the Replacements got better with later Let it Be through Don't Tell a Soul.

  • Amazing, RIP Bob! And to Paul, Chris, and Tommy!

  • man these guys were such a good punk band..then later on there music changed so much..it wasnt even punk

  • only 3000 people saw this sad world we live in :(

  • no way 3000 people fit in 7th street entry. Tell me if I'm wrong...I swear capacity was more like 300.

  • I think he was referring to the view on the video at the time.

  • gcalvinH.....oh, I get it now 200 views! I feel dumb. Sad thing is half the total views of this video are probably from the same 100 people. Hundreds of years from now people will still listen to Tim somewhere...and maybe Sorry Ma!

  • Lol don't feel dumb, it's an honest mistake.

I'm sure you're right about that 100 people though, I watch this video constantly.

We can only hope on that! This is rock at it's finest.

  • Think the person meant how many views on youtube. Youre right about 7th St Entry. No way 3000 gets in there.

  • @cepeda - I believe the fire code capacity for 7th St Entry is officially 125. That being said I have been there when there have been well over 200 people in there. So much body heat that it was literally raining condensation from the nasty ceiling.

  • Thanks for posting this Solid Gold Stuff!

  • OMG this is... wow.. awesome! they'll always be #1 in my book.

  • She gets rubber in all four gears... That's fucking rock'n'roll.

  • the mats rule!!

  • OONTZ OONTZ OONTZ OONTZ

  • Love all these 7th Street Entry clips. In ref. to what chout said: How did they sneak an obviously underage Tommy into all those bars they played at?

  • Timeless

  • Tommy was a good bass player for such a little shit...

  • Whoever put these videos up I just wanna thank you. This is probably one of the most important bands in my life.

  • Fucking awesome.
