please please slow down on the road ways. i too lost a very dear friend of mine in a car accident back in 1999. stil feels like it happened just yesterday. and yes it was due to speeding. my life has not been the same since. we speak till we are blue and no one listens. PLEASE SLOW DOWN and WEAR YOUR SEAT BELTS
On 12/1/09 I visited Katie McCarty's grave site and said a prayer. I didn't know that she was an only child - so, so sad. She is so missed by her parents and friends of Taylorville. There is a box there to drop rememberances in for others to see. Rest in peace Katie - you will never be forgotten. I went to KCM's gravesite also, another horrific tragedy in it's own - especially when you see can the wreck site from Glen Haven.
R.I.P Ross Conrady, Chris McGlasson, Katie Carpentier I love you and miss you guys soo much words can't even explain!!! this school year wasnt the same without Katie not there with me in studyhall and huntin and working round the farm without Ross around wasnt the same and hangin up at Thortons with out Ross, Katie, And Chris all there just aint the same any more it's hard! i love you guys and ill see you some day soon!!
A moving video and beautifully done. Capturing their souls elegantly. I am an ex student of LCHS having graduated back in 1986. In my heart I believe along with many other students that every student who attended LCHS feels like we are all family, and will feel sad for the loss of these great kids. Its an unfair world every day. Love your family and friends you never know when this sort of tragedy could strike. Love and respect to everyone who has felt loss.
My son along with 3 others were killed instantly in a truck accident. We think about them every day and miss them so very dearly. A homesickness you can't describe. I will never get over
Copied from another comment: The first song is part of "In the Deep" by Bird York. The second song (which starts at 2:41) is "On Saturday Afternoons in 1963" by Rickie Lee Jones. You can see the song names in the description on the right side of the video as well.
On another note: thank you all for the nice comments and messages! :-)
I remember what happened at school, the school had to get atleast 4-6 counselors and many people didn't go to school, But thats all i remember :[ but the crash site was one terrible site to see :[
@VincentValentineVII i remember that day at school. It was horrible. Everybody in my class was crying when they wanted the moment of silence, then most of my class left to go to the grievance counselors. I didnt really know any of them personally (only chris) but i still cant get over their deaths :[
I really wanted to let everyone know that my heart goes out to all of you. I remember how hard it was when I lost Sonya. I can't imagine what it's like losing 4 good people all at once.
Great Video. I never knew them, but as a community(i live right by lincoln, and megan mcglasson is one of my friends, this totally devastated her and her family), it really makes me miss them :[
You worded my thoughts perfectly - I was unable to figure out how to word my own thoughts so I made this movie instead.
