I dont see what the big deal is with this and Demon's Souls. Sure they were difficult but it wasnt that hard. Frustrating yes, but at least you learned from your mistakes, which in my opinion, you never really learned from dying in past games. Dark Souls is going to be amazing, cannot wait.

@J88Wolf It's pretty much a dark fantasy action RPG set in a world where demons roam the land feeding off the souls of people which in turn makes them insane. You pretty much go around trying to defeat these demons. The thing is, the game does not hold back and is really, really challenging. I'm talking you will die more times then you would like to hard. Throwing your controller across the room hard. But it's very rewarding when you beat an enemy or even an Arch Demon.
i cant wait for all the xbox cod children to get this game and try to invade my game, ill send em straight to hell, and i wont need an adjudicator shield and spear like the rest of the !@#$%^

@13thcolossi I think Demon's Souls problem was it was a ps3 exclusive and it wasn't a big enough game for people to advertise loads now its on the 360 too much wider audience and Microsoft has always been better at advertising but its excellent its getting noticed because means they could do a series of games :D

@greyfoxx55 Why do they keep arranging different dates to shut down the servers for Demon's Souls? They are giving the impression that they're desperate to shut them down on all the fans for whatever reason. I say, they should shut the fuck up, let people enjoy the game they spent a lot of money on WITH the online features fully intact, and only consider shutting them down when there is literally nobody playing the game online. Because I KNOW that there are no shortage of DS online players.

Demon's Souls used orchestrated music because it sounded more like humanity being attacked by evil, and humanity losing, whereas this song sets the mood for more of a "humanity's counterattack" feel, if that makes any sense at all...or am I just talking gibberish?

I hope this is a stand alone sequel. Demon's Souls is one of the few games I'd consider getting a PS3 for, but is ultimately not worth the expense. Hopefully they'll release a 360 version now that this is coming out, so we're not left entirely in the dark.

Demon's Souls is not too hard when you are patient, it simply is not unfair like some other games.
Take your time, breathe, and focus, then you realize that the game's difficulty is just a beautifully orchestrated illusion.
Utterly masterful, this is what i expect of Dark Souls.
