On a good year, Congress will consistently overstep their Constitutional bounds. The war in Iraq, 100% un Constitutional. Congress has sole authority to declare war, they cant give their power away. Our Constitution does not guarantee you the right to health care. In fact, our Constitution doesn't even give the Federal government the right to vote on this issue. Eliminating corruption by repealing McCain-Feingold, Tort reform, and basically repeal every other piece of legislation passed in the last 100 years that are UN-Constitutional.

I do realize that I could have my own private insurance even though this socialized medicine does go into effect, but the problem is nothing is free. When people w/o coverage continue to get care by showing up to the E.R. for free, instead of the Ins. Corps raising their rates, the Gov will simply increase taxes! Unless youre in the poverty income level... then its really free... or will it be?

On a good year, Congress will consistently overstep their Constitutional bounds. The war in Iraq, 100% un Constitutional. Congress has sole authority to declare war, they cant give their power away. Patriot Act? Real ID? Anything from FDRs New Deal? Nixon? Bush? Clinton? Wilson? Reagan? And all the Congressional sessions and Supreme Court Justices in between have overstepped their authority.
This is why some 33 states have passed resolutions declaring their sovereignty under the 10th amendment.

Our Constitution does not guarantee you the right to health care. In fact, our Constitution doesn't even give the Federal government the right to vote on this issue. Its just Congress wasting time when they could be doing real things, like ending the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and bring home our troops in Europe and Asia. Eliminating corruption by repealing McCain-Feingold, Tort reform, and basically repeal every other piece of legislation passed in the last 100 years that are UN-Constitutional.

Not only does it NOT guarantee it, but by the fact that the Constitution has no provision giving Congress the power to pass such law (Hint: General welfare clause in the preamble isn't an actual enumeration of power) means that the only entity with the authority to do so is the State.
The tenth Amendment gives the STATE the authority to pass "Universal and comprehensive health care," NOT the Federal government.

I do realize that I could have my own private insurance even though this socialized medicine does go into effect, but the problem is nothing is free. The money has to come from somewhere which means its going to end up costing me anyways. Money out of my paycheck and higher taxes on everything is not going to solve anything. The public option would be cheap... yea but why so cheap? Well when 60-70% of $ spent is on the elderly... just give the elderly hospice instead of treatment. Now healthcare is 70% cheaper but is this really ethical?

How about ALL those people that are employed by these companies? And all those employees pay taxes, buy houses, buy cars, food, and so on and so on! But what has obamer contributed to the U.S. Economy? His additional Trillion dollars to the Fed budget and his 787 Billion dollar "stupidlus" bill... and the economy still has 9.4 unemployment, falling GDP, negative numbers in consumer confidence, etc.

Health Insurance doesn't ADD anything it just takes a cut from the transaction between a health professional and a sick person. There is NO value-add worth $1Trillion/yr and if Gov't competition puts them out of business so be it. Rich people might still want it for private hospitals but the rest of us will save some $ and put a CHUNK of that $1Trill to better use: alternative fuels, science ed in an economy based on reality, not the Creationist BS created by Fox Noise.

When did I say "NO ONE" There is some value in the industry but it is not proportional to the political clout they wield. Private insurance shouldn't go away entirely, but nor should we have 46million people who can show up an the Emergency Room w/o contributing to the system they are benefitting from. They'll pay for the services now in the form of taxes. It's not the MIC, we don't NEED the industry and it should conform to human decency.

The problem is that the Latino vote is now so big that neither party will take a stand that will offend them so it will have to be a 3rd party. I'd like them to learn English too but I improved myself by learning Spanish b/c I can get paid to talk to more ppl. I do worry when industries get powerful enough to push a legislative agenda though, I don't want Northrop starting a war to sell more planes no matter how many jobs it provides. The main underlying issue is that under obamer care, the CBO projects ONLY a 10% savings in premiums! When people w/o coverage continue to get care by showing up to the E.R. for free, instead of the Ins. Corps raising their rates, the Gov will simply increase taxes! So youll STILL be paying premiums but at a 10% discount, but offset by the increase in TAXATION and youll end up paying far more! Unless youre in the poverty income level... then its really free... or will it be?

Fringe, Programs starting to work? Like obamer's "Stupidlus" bill that he's used only 12% of and unemployment at 9.4%? GDP still in negative territory? Consumer confidence still falling? Deficit reduced? You need to listen more to what even obamer himself is saying... his latest estimates show the deficit projections at almost 10 TRILLION Dollars in 10 years. (he did admit he was off just 2 TRILLION initially on previous estimates! lol)

Because of the cash for clunkers act 4 auto plants that closed because of ressesion has now opened and has hired all their 4,000 people back. A auto plant just reopened,The new housing market has grown for the first time in 3 years. You have to give this pres time. 8 months does not erase 8 years of neglect.
Oh and yes there will be a health care bill signed and delivered

Fringe You should look to see what the "12%" has been spent on. The Cash 4 Clunker's program was a temp program that gave temp jobs for maybe a month unless the Auto Indus. sees an increase in sales w/o C4C!
Was the C4C program really all that good? It put MORE people in debt during tough economic times... and added 3 Billion dollars of Government spending to obamer's list of accolades! Where do you think the 3 Billion dollars for C4C will come from "IF" the dealers ever get paid?

The Cash 4Clunkers just opened and hired back over 2,000people and has reopened 2 car factories. also 1 factory that makes car winshields. The reports are saying that they can't make cars fast enought to keep up with the demands since the whole inventory was sold. Also A rubber plant has also reopened and hired back 500. Sure there are big problems but to clean up a mess will take a long time

Illegal immigrants are NOT covered. They will continue to use the emergency room for their primary medical needs. After the cluster fuck Iraq war is over, that little price tag will be 3 TRILLION.
