no after a few weeks, the rubber bands are very useful in the beginning because the locks aren't felted yet and there are lots of loose hairs which loooove to grow together, the rubber bands will help them not to grow together.
nice! yea I first started out with backcombing, but then I found out that waxing is bad, so I started all over, and decided to go natural instead. I'll have to show some vids/pics of it soon to you! :-)
let someone else make about 50 or 60 ponytails and backcomb a little bit, twist and rip to make it tight and repeat 'till your done with the dreadlock. Repeat with the other ponytails.
