I can't really defend this as a "good" game these days. You have to pick your battles. But as a kid, this was my reliable way to kill 30 minutes. I got to where I could reliable do the entire game without being hit once. I started setting challenges for myself, like only shurikens (except on bosses, who are immune to them). I still pop it in sometimes for another go. We all have our guilty pleasures, and this is one of mine.

WHAT ABOUT THE BONUS LEVEL THINGS! There's one where you have to pick a number , and if you write 999999 they say it's high , and if you write 0 they say it's lower :S this has bothered me for years

Remember this from when I was a kid, this game was AWESOME. I didn't understand the plot cause I didn't speak one word of English at the time but hey, fuck it, the sound that the enemies made when you smashed them was just SOOO EPIC ^^.

Oh man, funny how so many GB games especially about popular stuff like Megaman and mario for an example seem to be... Well, bad or not as good as they could have been.

Lots of game creators seemed to put little to none effort in their b&w gameboy releases.

Here is the code to refill your energy/health.

Pause the game then press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, and then start.

Also this game has 3 mini games available if you press B, A, and Select at the same time while at the options screen then choose the question mark.

Wow, you've this game beaten! I have great respect for you! I played time ago "Back from the Sewers" - and it was pure hell (among other things they walk so fucking slowly...). ^^
