  • how the hell can anybody sit in a car for 24 hours straight without stopping? it would suck if you had to use the john. lol

  • @codyjt5150 the 24 hours of lemans is split into 3 drivers to drive an estimated 8 hours each and usuall 1-2 hours a drive .. it seems impossible to sit in a car for one day

  • @codyjt5150 There's usually no need to go because the drivers sweat out all their liquids from the heat. Besides, if they can't keep their butt cheeks tight for two hours they probably shouldn't be racing in the first place.

  • lol playstation suit xD

  • It's always Peugeot or Audi winning. Hardly any of the other makes win.

  • Germany are the best. Congratulations from Poland!

  • What position did the Corvettes come in?

  • @kingrex1002 LAST cuz they suck

  • @kingrex1002 First for the third time in a row. Another corvette under a different team placed third.

  • Race cars take more wear and tear than street cars??

ONE pot hole on my street causes more "wear and tear" than what anything these cars go through in an entire race. Times that by the 50 billion pot holes in my neighborhood. i think your talking about drivetrain/tires only.

  • @SICKJ0KER perhaps that porsche engineer lives is a city without potholes.

  • the audi r 10 was very quick. but now they have a rivary the puegeot 908. the 2010 le mans is in 19 days. can hardley wait

  • i love le mans.

  • can please anyone tell me how to use le mans 24 hours cheats in pc ???????????

  • i like tom kristensen as he is always in what i see ahead of his team mate...

  • There's nothing like watching the final lap of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Some of these finishes are more like gentleman-like finishes. You may call it soft, but it's tradition. This is just beautiful to watch. But with all due respect, the 2005 Le Mans was even more beautiful as I almost wanted to cry over Tom Kristensen surpassing Jacky Ickx for most all-time outright wins at Le Mans. Again... beautiful to watch.

  • Yeah cause most of the time the win is already secured (2007 and 2008 was not so sure) and the last lap doesn't make a difference anymore. Something you can't see in shorter races.

  • but i will admit its a much better looking car the peogeout

  • pegeout suck my nuts

  • just because they are sometimes beaten by audi you have to slag peugeot off . . .spaz

  • Why the hatred of Peugeot?

  • because the owner spat on me

  • Sounds like the owner is a prick.

  • he is man maybe it was accident but wat ever he is disgusting

  • Ya I would be pissed to......

  • thats amazing how the cars hold up in racing conditions for 24 hours

  • @atallen223 A porsche engineer once said every miles of race condition is equivalent to the wear and tear of 1000 street miles.

These races are about 3200 miles for these cars. A street car with 3.2 million miles is definitely stretching the point, but the idea doesn't fail to impress. Remarkable engineering.

  • @atallen223 The don't, that's why they have the pit crew and mechanics to fix all the stuff that breaks during the race! LOL 8) But really, I know what you mean.

  • red necks can be nice

  • @ninjafatballz

Jaguar is owned by tata an INDIAN company! Not by ford!

  • duh jaguar is owned by ford because jaguar r in a finatial crisis but it dusnt help when ford are in an even deeper crisis get ur facts right tard

  • ford sold jaguar and land rover a few months ago

  • wow

  • beautiful cars and perfect track

  • Audi knows how to win... No matter which car... no matter diesel or not. But I gotta say they work really hard for it.

  • tyvm

  • Are you kidding me?! They are just trying to set a record. have respect for the talent of theese drivers. OH and before I forget DO NOT judge all Americans by looking at only those who are arrogant.

  • they do give the drivers credit u idiot but 3 people race for 24 hours geez. once the fatigue sets in they're going to have to rely on the performance of the car, quit hiding behind the computer and actually do somthing if u really care about the drivers that much.

  • thanks, you've inspired me to keep my trigger finger happy and loose.

  • You should look at your countries past, and see which one has the most disgusting history when it comes to war, retard.

  • It seems that everyone sterotypes americans as rednecks. Get out of redneck country, and you will see that americans are friendly.

  • wpcsray, americans are heaps friendly... they only have that steriotype because of the polititians...

  • @wpcsray Calling someone a redneck who is a redneck is NOT an insult. That's a complement buddy. Rednecks are proud to be rednecks.

  • @wpcsray friendly with guns…

  • @wpcsray EVERYONE. is a steong word. im candaian and i love visiting america. yes some are really not educated. but cnadainas have just as many as you guys do. both countries are amazing. anyone bashing america. just think about how your watching tv the next you do

  • man... my absolute dream to race (i dont even have to come close to winning) in the 24 hours of le mans... mand that would be so awesome

  • The F1 commentators commentating this race.

  • audi has been the leader in technology in racing for some time now. does anybody remember the 1989 trans-am championship 4-wheel drive, smoked them bad,and then they outlawed 4x4 cars..........Lola out.

  • Argh! That commentators Leigh Diffey! He used to commentate the V8 Supecars in Australia, but he left last year, I thought I'd never have to hear his annoying voice again!

  • Audi and Corvette ROCK!!!!

  • I gotta get me one of those!!!

  • For god sake, the entry is no reflecton on the road cars. GT1 cars have the chassis and engine block in common with the same makes road cars, and thats IT. Still, it's expected that Corvette would win the class. The development rates are huge, so for Aston to come straight out the box and be as quick is quite something.

  • A true petrolhead would just enjoy the amazing engineering of the cars regardless of who made them. american, english, german or damn marshan. put your handbags away little girls for fucks sake

  • Northax, the Aston Martins have been making the Corvette teams nervous, and the Aston Martins have defeated them in some races. In the 2006, they almost had the Corvettes, one hour left and then had a problem. For the most part, they were pretty reliable. I think it's only a matter of time before the Vettes get knocked off. It'll be nice when that happens, the Vettes are starting to get stale.

  • Panoz (American car) won GT2 class at 2006 Le Mans 24 hr. as well!

  • Prepared in a british factory, by british engineers, and driven by British drivers. (Team LNT)

  • Doesn't matter. It's still an American car. Imagine American racers driving Porsche 911s, Ferrari F430s, etc. and winning; but at the end of the day, you Euros have the right to say your cars are good, because we use them!

Thus, the same is now said about our cars, like Panoz, since YOU use them! :)

  • you say america are getting better? ye with britain's help! who designed the original GT40? plus wen the Aston get reliable we will kick your arse man!

  • lol! Corvette, my friend, not GT40. Stop living in denial, my friend. :) And saying "When Aston gets reliable we will kick your arse man" is like me saying "When Corvette has the handling of a Formula 1 car, and top speed of a Veyron, it'll dominate every car on the track... man!" LOL! Please, live in reality, not fantasy. :)

  • I'm a American, but I have no pride in our cars. I admit, our cars are going down the drain lately. Also, I'm just amazed at Audi in how they won with their new TDI engines. I mean, if Audi beats the Corvette Team with diesel engines against gas combustion, Audi deserved another great victory.

Still, I would never buy a European car, I wouldn't buya American either. Had my share of problems with American Cars.

  • Well, we're making better cars: Look at the Cadillac CTS-V on Top Gear. It beat an Audi S4 around the track, easily. Looks at the $68,000 Corvette C6 Z06 beating multiple European cars that cost $130,000-$200,000, on the track. Look at the Ford GT, as well. We're getting better.

  • well the S4 did have only 340 bhp were as the CTS-V has about 400hp and more torque. race the Caddy against an RS4 and see what happens....

  • And the CTS-V weighs 430 lbs. more, and lacks the 4wd the S4 has. Therefore, it should've supposedly dominated around corners, which it seemed to've not done.

  • LOL! If American cars suck, that means ALL other cars in the world suck even more... because the Corvette team won 4 out of the last 5 Le Mans... you dimwitt! LMAO! Who feels stupid now, boy? LOL! GM won an international award: Best engine (which is in the Corvette C6-R) in the world... it was given in Germany. You just got owned, American style, buddy.

  • People are just biased, its a country pride thing, dont worry about it.

  • Excuse me, correction: FIVE out of the last 6 Le Mans were won by Corvette! I believe 4 out of those 5 were 1-2 finishes: both 'vettes making it in 1st and 2nd place. Also, American Dodge Viper won Le Mans 24 hour in 1998 and 1999 I believe, if memory serves me right.

  • I love the last lap of LeMans, with all the corner workers waving all of their flags. Its such a colorful lap. The corner workers are deffinitly what makes the race. With out them...who knows. I am a I volunteer my time as a corner worker at Watkins Glen, and it is a blast!!!

  • Geez. A bunch of experts. Hush little birdies, don't you cry. That little corvette done passed you by.

  • While you are all talking you are forgeting the Ford GT, a real amercican 212 MPH monster

  • Stock? Yes. Race worthy, not the same as the original entry. The new Ford GT is an ode to the great GT, and a larger car. Still impressive, but the Vette dominates the GT1 class of race cars, for now.

  • "LOL american cars are the epitome of shit."

    No. Not really.

  • LOL american cars are the epitome of shit.

  • guess you dont know about car history >:

  • I guess you are a Yank?

    Real cars come from Germany.

  • I agree, am from the uk and germany make kick ass cars, just look at the bugatti veyron - AMAZING

  • im pretty sure bugatti is italian

  • Guess who owns Bugatti? VW group Guess who owns Audi - VW group, Guess who owns Audi- VW group, Guess who owns Lamborghini? Audi does, but VW group owns Audi. Actually, VW group owns Bentley AND Rolls Royce!

    Nice, huh?

  • doesnt ford own jaguar? and volvo ? and gm own saab? i have been wrong before maybe i am. anyways why dont you people all realize that britain and the United States are fucking allies?! british media has done a good job of making you people hate us americans. DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE! we are brothers damnit....just ask anyone in the middle east if the US and Britain are any different lmao.

  • Real Cars from Germany, Perfect automobile machines from the U.S.A.! the Corvette is being penalized for winning so much and it's still winning.

  • Agreed, go Audi and Volkwagen!!

  • Ah, dude...I thought my Dad's 427 vette was the best thing since sliced bread...until I drove a 911, and the sky's opened, and it all became very clear. Watch the GT class at the 24 hours of Daytona at the end of the month...and see what the best stock 911 will do to the best stock Corvette...deeeee-stroy!

  • As if you miss it the first time, numbnut, "And I really don't give a royal fuckass what you think, ya fuckin' allstar."

  • Corvettes suck, long live the Ford GT

  • lol Your daddies car is much cheaper in price, and thus not in the price class of the Porsche 911! You dolt. You expect a car that costs $45,000 to be on par with one that ranges from $115,000 to $130,000? LOL! You're not awake upstairs, are you?

It's like saying the Porsche 911 is crap, because it doesn't compare to a McLaren F1. Wow, the idiocy... check the price on both. lol!

  • daddy's*

  • I don't see Porsche 911 beating Corvette in GT1 at Le Mans 24 hour, the biggest, and most important GT race on Earth. Didn't think so. :)

  • It's Porsche 16 wins...GM ZERO...there have been MANY varients of the 911 that have won outright, the last being the 911 GT1. GM does not have the brainpower to win outright, so they'll always be a brides-bee-atch.

  • This is such a beautiful track. Long live the Corvettes!!!

  • Corvette is blue-collar garbage...german rocket science still rules the automotive world.

  • And I really don't give a royal fuckass what you think, ya fuckin' allstar.

  • chav your fucking american comments up your fucking ass u idle cunt!!!

STICK YOUR FUCKING AMERICUNT SHIT CARS UP YOUR ASS!LOL

  • [points and laughs]

  • What's that? The V2. Whoa. Very little rocket science in Detroit.

  • 1targa, read my post about the 4 Le Mans wins Corvette has, and the WORLDWIDE award winning engine it has, also. It's #1! Sorry buddy, you're quite wrong, and made yourself look like an ass at the same time. LOL! :)
