I went to see the performance of John Phil Wayne (guitar solo) with Drummer Milford Chambers at the Private Jazz Hall of Sir Glen McCorkindale on 8th September 2010 Newcastle U.K. He played some straight-ahead Jazz-Rock, Funk and Bop with amazing drummer Milford Chambers who was in a glass cage in order to get a good sound for the recording. A sold-out Venue of 3000 Vips made a standing ovation to the great John Phil Wayne, jazz legend, internationally renowned solo guitarist and conductor.
