Probably so. I think I shot this about two years ago. I was only playing with my digital still camera. It's amazing that more than 3000 people have viewed it. I suppose this is somewhat of an icon for Houston.
Cool! I've taken rides on this trains many times since I was a child. I will always love this one. Wonder if they do any switching there some times? LOL
@KJinTX Actually, yes, we did some switching during the 16 in gauge era. In fact, we nearly backed it into another parked train after someone threw the wrong switch. That aside, the switching was usually because something was wrong with an engine and/or train set.
why dont they give the old ones away

I miss the old train. It had character. But they had to replace the old train due to safety issues and the Americans With Disabilities Act.
