Damn..... I agree with you.... I looked up that address and that's pretty convencing to me.... and I play my self! I can also do the same thing the dude was doing. Remember that it has to do on the player too, but the sounds are pretty realistic. I gave a 5 stars on this one though, for not playing a real guitar and yet comming up with a nice basic sound. Really begginer, but steady in his idea and well done too.

I forgot to tell ya that a very good way to find out if is real or not (Like in the case of the link you provided or any case) is to listen to the squeaky sound that comes out of the hand sliding across the fret board in the guitar. So you really can tell that the guy in the link you provided is using midi and not a real guitar. It's just that he is really good in simulating almost 100% the real thing....

He's using a VST called "Real Guitar 2". It's a really fantastic instrument.  If you're interested in guitar tunes, check out Real Strat as well. Combine that with Guitar Rig 3 and you can make ANY type of guitar music.
