@syxx573 Yea, it was later released on the SNES as "The Lost Levels". SMB2 in Japan was released on the Famicom Disk System and was deemed to hard for American gamers.
Haha i used to have this game when i was younger. I remember i used to always have to get my dad to beat levels for me. Now i wish i still had this game haha
The definition according to the internet is "a work whose story precedes that of an earlier work"
I'd say this game fit that definition. That being said, I'll gladly admit that I may have misused the word. That's not really the point of the video though.....
Nice Review, I have Donkey Kong somewhere, I actually beat the whole game before, That game does have a lot of levels. It does The Original Arcade Game even better!
This game does take me back. It's kind of a shame that none of the emulators out there recreate the SGB-specific extras (Pauline's "Help" and the ending theme). Alas, it also means no ultra-cool '16-bit' mode for Space Invaders, either. But I guess that's what the stand-alone SNES cart is for.
nice review.
you two make a cute couple, bro.

DK94 was not a "prequel," considering that Nintendo had no idea that they'd be making the Mario vs. DK series over a decade later.
By the way, the world "prequel" is a colloquial portmanteau that George Lucas invented to try to legitimize his new bastard Star Wars movies.

I can't post a link in the comments, so please go to the website and look for it. it's in the October section.

well I've moved to an entirely new website since then. lol
I assumed you'd check it before 3 months passed.
umm... check Zophar's Domain for GB music rips. Since I can't make links in the comments that's about the best I can do.

I love these reviews, mainly because I spend most of my game-playing time on handhelds. Good show!
