Easy answer. EVRA IS THE BEST! Nice vid though and Lahm is a class act too. Evra's just so good at everything (apart from shooting - used to play as a forward!!!) he is freakishly good at jumping and heading has blistering pace, great vision, passing & tackling. ever since 2007 i honestly believe that evra is easily the best left back with ashley cole and phillip lahm 2nd and 3rd. Evra is one of the few fullbacks that can defend and attack brilliantly. Sure he isnt a great goalscorer but that isnt his role, thats for the midfielders and strikers. Lahm to me is more versatile but that is it.
Lahm wins it, rarely disappoints and does his job all the time. Offensively he's a threat though not as big as Evra, but his crosses are accurate and some excellent passing/teamwork. Defensively more solid than Evra. Very consistent, and his footballing IQ is a reason why he has been successful in playing at different positions. See how he links up with Ribery then and Robben now. He even played as DMF once against England and gave an assist.
I think Lahm is a bit better. For Example in the game Man U vs Bayern made evra a big mistake at the end. Lahm hasn´t such a technique, but he is very fast so hi is a very good dribbler. And his defender qualities are very good.

Playing on the left side, Lahm is obviously limited as a right-foot as he can't play cross. Also his small stature puts him at a disadvantage against larger players. But what he is capable of *despite* these limitations - genius tackling skills, and an offensive "trick" (going inside for the shot) that no defense could yet counter, makes him very special. Lahm vs. Evra might be a close call from a pure "result" perspective, but Lahm had to come the longer way, and thus has my sympathy. Lahm FTW.
Although Evra is good on both offense and defense Lahm is way better and also way more EFFECIENT!!. it goes like c.ronaldo and messi. ronaldo is a fancy go nowhere showman while messi is effective and uses his skills in somthing USEFULL
Evra's better in my opinion. For a small guy his jump is unbelieveable, he has pace , skills and gets forward a lot. He's improved beyond measure defensively since he first joined and is very good. The only thing Evra lacks is his crossing but a bit of work should sort that out. I prefer left footed left backs and the right footed ones have to cut inside or stop and cross with their right foot (which can slow things down a bit). Lahm wins on the versatility front though.

Lahm vs. Evra might be a close call from a pure "result" perspective, but Lahm had to come the longer way, and thus has my sympathy. Lahm FTW.

Although Evra is good on both offense and defense Lahm is way better and also way more EFFECIENT!!. it goes like c.ronaldo and messi. ronaldo is a fancy go nowhere showman while messi is effective and uses his skills in somthing USEFULL

Evra's better in my opinion. For a small guy his jump is unbelieveable, he has pace , skills and gets forward a lot. He's improved beyond measure defensively since he first joined and is very good. The only thing Evra lacks is his crossing but a bit of work should sort that out. I prefer left footed left backs and the right footed ones have to cut inside or stop and cross with their right foot (which can slow things down a bit). Lahm wins on the versatility front though.

lahm by fucking far i've just seen the pre season match bayern vs manu (bayern won jihaa) lahm was playing against nani aaand evra and he was better... and he is better than alves because lahm left back is just his second position he is right back and now he is playin it he will destroy everyone i hope bayern plays real in championsleague....
