I have a 360 only because there are more games on it that I like better. i know that PS3 and the 360 have the same games but really if I got a Playstation there is only a small handful of games I would buy for it like God of War, Devil May Cry just to name 2 series of games plus i am more comfortable with the 360 controler.I grew up with a N64 but I am not a such a loyal Nintendo fan that I'll get a Wii because all I could see myself getting with that would be Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess

The only thing more asinine than the whole superiority thing is when people DELIBERATELY go on to the other system and trash talk about it. Over 3 years since i'd got in my first online ps3 match and I'd thought i'd seen it all... but nooo it makes a comeback and it's still going strong. And you can tell who they are coz guess what? THEY NEVER SHUT THE HELL UP either! The only positive thing i can say, especially concerning girl gamers, is that their harassment is nearly non-existent on ps3. :P

It was introduced to me on Runescape as a harsh insult to my lack of high level characters. This disriminating word is harsh and is used by people with too much time on their hands. To escape this abuse, I transfered to WoW. Surely this game would be an improvement. It was, but there are an arrogant few who still use this terrible derogitory term. Making ~40 toons is my choice. The max is 50 and I use toon creation as my own form of artistic expression.

I totally agree!!! I mean, really! It's no one else's business what game station you use but your own! I hate it when people look down on me because I only have a PS2 and Nintendo DS, not a PS3, Gamecube, or whatever else. It's a shame this keeps going on even now... I decided to upgrade my computer for gaming and was called an idiot for not spending that money on a 360 or PS3.... Well, there's many LIVE games on PC that cross-platform, so it's fine. I like the freedom of playing my games and, if I want, the freedom of developing mods for said games, or even emulating games I missed out on as a kid because I was too young to get my hands on them. Damn kids and their "my opinion is better than yours" crap.

I fucking hate trash-talkers on PSN. I was playing GTA4 with 2 guys who kept calling themselves legends when all they did was camp in the airport with an annihilator helicopter suppling them w/ infinite RPGs provoking us to try and kill them by calling us pussy noobs. Even after I killed them 20 times they called it luck and at the height of their wit they reverted to yo-mama jokes. Its Shit like that that makes me hate people. At least Lani understands. ^_^

Yay someone hit the nail on the head! I hate fanboys and I'm no fanboy at all, I play 360 so I can play online with my friends and for all the great games, but I still have a Wii and every Nintendo console before it that I still go back and play on occasion. Same with my PS2, I only wanted so that I could play the Jak series.

it's not just video games, people are anal about technology in general, like the smart phone deal, I have a driod and people with iphone give me hell because it doesnt have as many apps yet, especially since the iphone got a head start, this is done with computers as well, so long as there are different types of tech people will always be like that

Here's my rant on the word noob:
It was introduced to me on Runescape as a harsh insult to my lack of high level characters. This disriminating word is harsh and is used by people with too much time on their hands. To escape this abuse, I transfered to WoW. Surely this game would be an improvement. It was, but there are an arrogant few who still use this terrible derogitory term. Making ~40 toons is my choice. The max is 50 and I use toon creation as my own form of artistic expression.

i won the slayer match of 25 kills, with the closest person being on 7 kills, and i only died twice. i just smiled when all of them left the game and refused to play against me again... good times
