Just to let you know that Firewire is not a proprietary connection. Apple may have of designed Firewire, but that is it.

sorry I haven't got back to you. I don't think it would. the iSight has a fire wire interface, but even if it did work, the camera is optimized to work with the mac os, and the video results will not come out well compared to a mac. I highly suggest to get a logitech camera because the video results would look much better. And also it will be cheaper. Additionally the logitech pro 9000 had much better quality than the sight camera for a pc.

thanks for all advice kp. I am getting the MBA or maybe the MacBook. Which one is better and please post a video using the MBA iChat and stuff. Sorry if I am being annoying. But I'm just curious thats why i want to be a tech person and a sciencetist on chemicals/ DNA

if features is more important to you than form factor, I suggest to get the MacBook, however if form factor and size is more important and you don't mind the lack of connectivity, than get the MacBook air.
