San Francisco Symphony's Keeping Score project: Gustav Mahler

I am watching part 2 of the series right now as I am writing it, wonderful show. I saw Michael Tilson Thomas conduct Symphony N.6 in San Francisco kast month. , it was wonderful., It's such tragic symphony of hopelessmness. I love N.5 with it's battle between good and bad and both uniting at the end in peace. That is how I see that symphony. My favorite though is Titan with the sounds of nature and Jewish melodies.

It's amazing how someones music can be a soundtrack to ones life. Each symphony telling a story about ones life.
