The original Run to the Hills is really poorly timed that playing really stiff is a good way to play this song, it keeps you from playing in time with the song and instead play the notes as they come.

Also he's probably not a drummer, but I can't get in to his profile to double-check this. I also realize you posted with a week ago, but I'm still responding.

you should avoid keeping your arms stiff... if you possibly can, try doing drum rolls instead.. and its much easier on rockband drum sets atleast, to use rubber tipped sticks. :) Rock band has them.. the portable drumset atleast. Check best buy in rock band accescories.
