See, this is the thing I find being so great about animation. You never think "Oh, is this actor going to do the emotion right?" "What is the actor thinking?" "I like Johnny Depp in this." because unlike movies, animation really happens (inside the screen, obviously. I'm not crazy) and it feels that it really is (more or less) which makes it easier to feel the emotion of the movie. It's really well done.

I love how everyone becomes some self proclaimed professional at critiquing movies all of a sudden. I have yet to see a post from Ropert or Ebert. I read the story on the creation of this short. This was done at someone's home, on there own time. They were not paid(atleast not yet, several producers and directors interested). All big things start small, and for something this short, I think he has created something that could eventually take off into something on a massive scale!
The shots I have to agree there was a little overuse of the first person shots and at the start you could not make out anything she was looking at which made me lose interest at first. the best shot out of it was the scene before she jumped into the church.
It resembles the aesthetics of Deus ex: Human Revolution and vice versa. Even has a post-apocalyptic, yet cyber-punk, atmosphere. Any ways, it´s just awesome.
This looks great, but it failed to engage me early on. When context finally arrives, it's a bit late. The many, many jump cuts to point of view shots are somewhat grating and they feel derivative. It made me recall Matrix, Terminator, Final Fantasy: Spirits Within, Kontroll and Appleseed. Great style, though.

well that was interesting I'll start with the animation...
as far as i could tell that was most definetly movie quality, seamless, no awkward movements or clipping.
Sound was great it fit the scenes and scynched well all sound effects were on target.
