My dad has two trucks a F-250 and a F-150 with about 170,000 miles each and the only things he has to change on them is tires and brake pads and oil when needed. i have an 88' 2.9l 4x4 ranger it holds strong to this day. I go through massive pot holes and deep water and there is no damage to the suspension.

My uncle have a 99 f350 powerstroke turbo diesel with 298,000 he's the second owner and he never has had an issue with it just take care of ur vehicle and it will last for awhile regardless the company who makes it
The raptor raced in SCORE and BITD is not the same as the street model. It has about 15k in performance parts and keeps up with the class 8 unlimiteds.

All of the trucks are fast in the baja 1000. Unfortunately the stock class isn't stock, even the Raptor is modified for the stock class, I would like to see all the manufacturers race them off of the showroom, now that would spark some interest, If they were truly stock the Raptor would drive circles around the competition, Although I would love to own the Power Wagon, it is one of the toughest trucks around aside from the Mercedes Unimog.

I test drove one this past weekend. It is by far the greatest truck that I ever put my ass in. Zero body roll on the corners, you dont even feel the road. Even without the 6.2, it has plenty of go. The 4.10 rear end gives you a lot more off the line punch. Cant wait to see what the 6.2 at 400 hp will do. I wish I could of taken it off road a bit to see what it would do. I will buy this truck once the 6.2 is ready. Best Truck ever built.
More impressive would be 4cyl diesel motor 6l give me a break!

i had a ford f-150 xlt lariat that my g-pa bought new in 1990 and passed down to me when i turned 16...when i got rid of it a few years later had almost 300,000 miles on it and did everything from pulling trailers to just running around and i never had to do anything but the normal maintenance on it...i bought a chevy a few years ago and well...it was the biggest piece of shit i have ever owned and was 10 years newer than the old ford...i'm looking to buy a new F-150 now...A REAL TRUCK

Because Ford didn't take the money, they (and I know for fact) received the cheapest parts they could for their trucks and cars, some years of their vehicles, have over 5 different variation of the same part for the same year... just because they didn't take the money doesn't means shit... @MrMarkbad no ford does not cut corners on the parts they have used, they took a loan from someone else rather than the goverment, but was on the verge of bankruptcy. GM and Chrysler ended up bankrupt and no body wanted to give them a loan except obama. My Expedition is 7 years old and not a single problem.

My uncle have a 99 f350 powerstroke turbo diesel with 298,000 he's the second owner and he never has had an issue with it just take care of ur vehicle and it will last for awhile regardless the company who makes it

The raptor raced in SCORE and BITD is not the same as the street model. It has about 15k in performance parts and keeps up with the class 8 unlimiteds.

@BuckeyeNation1807 Yup, I'm 100% a chevy guy. However, my buddy has a raptor, and I have never been more impressed by a ford. We've given that thing a beating. He got 7 ft of air with it and landed i a dead stop the first week he had it. He's had it a few months now, and its been through hell, and is still running. We'll see how long it holds up. I LOVE Dodge but my last one blew up like a bomb because it was a 98 ram. you know about the faulty fuse right? well yeah thats why it blew up. they had a recall on em. but we didnt know about that till after it blew up. luckily my sister got out in time...

Yeah I haven't had any big problems with any of my dodges, or gm trucks, but I've had major tranny issues with my Fords, also had some blown engines, electrical issues are a bitch, etc etc.

I own Fords, GMs, and Dodges. My Fords are the biggest pieces of shit I own. My company and I bought Fords because they are the cheapest, but you get what you pay for, k mart cheap shit. We stopped buying Fords in 08. Our GMs and Dodges have been the best trucks. I have Dodges with over 650K going for that million mile spot

All of the trucks are fast in the baja 1000. Unfortunately the stock class isn't stock, even the Raptor is modified for the stock class, I would like to see all the manufacturers race them off of the showroom, now that would spark some interest, If they were truly stock the Raptor would drive circles around the competition, Although I would love to own the Power Wagon, it is one of the toughest trucks around aside from the Mercedes Unimog.

they are completely different trucks. the power wagon is a great truck for rock crawling, and forest trails. the raptor is for high speed desert driving, out in so cal and mexico. i love my raptor, but people, stop comparing the two! they are built for very different terrains, i would buy a jeep for rock crawling, a pw for forest trails, and i bought a raptor because i go out in the desert alot

I test drove one this past weekend. It is by far the greatest truck that I ever put my ass in. Zero body roll on the corners, you dont even feel the road. Even without the 6.2, it has plenty of go. The 4.10 rear end gives you a lot more off the line punch. Cant wait to see what the 6.2 at 400 hp will do. I wish I could of taken it off road a bit to see what it would do. I will buy this truck once the 6.2 is ready. Best Truck ever built.
