Many of the events and sites in the bible are historically FACTUAL. Whatever you think of the philosophy in the bible, most of the events that took place happened. Many even recorded by other cultures.

No, you're just an idiot. There's this thing they came up with a long time ago...it's called "Archeology". They dig for really old shit and they do this test, for age, you see. It's called "Carbon dating".
So by comparing what is told in myths/religious text to corresponding dates that the tests reveal, they can sum up which events where possibly real.
If you read a book now and then, instead of huffing glue and screaming at cats, you'd know this.

The point of the argument is he was saying christians are somehow exempt from being violent. Protestants and Catholics(including all subdivisions and branches) are not exempt. Like with ANYTHING, it's based on individual decision. Religion is just a justification for what they do as bad people.
Don't get me wrong, I don't just lump a group together and hate them. That's being a bigot no matter how you look at it. Though it's fine not to agree with a system they follow when its being abused
