I played Moria on and off for years and loved it. But Angband has a few features that converted me.. the sounds, the ability to store your goods in your house, the extra mage books, the rods, the everlasting lantern, the personalised monsters and the graphical sprites.

I just started playing this game. It's hard to believe how much it rocks - it's one of the best games I've ever play, and look at how basic the "graphics" are! And, yes, it is great how it is only hardcore. No graphic fluff and all hardcore. Yessssss.

i've played this game over and over and my friend you need to get rid of you're life before even thinking of playing this game.

Greatest thing about this game is that it is 100% hardcore , there is no saving point whatsoever if you die game over and start a new game. By the way there is over 100 level to the dungeon :D i never killed melkor ... man im going to get him one day! lol

Does it work in Hengband? LOL, I now know the secret dark arts of a pro. Seriously: as worthy of promotion as t is, there are obvious inherent difficulties on creating videos for it... which is a shame. Every RPG fan should at least try Hengband et al.

@nahor23 Erm, Angband was created in 1991, and ADOM in 1994, both pretty old....and Angband has much more recent development than ADOM...
