The mouse-wheel will not work. But you can use the up-arrow key on the keyboard, after picking up the ball. After you push the up-arrow, just move your finger of your mouse :)...

Worked for me xD

Took a few goes to adjust the bowling ball so it was in the right position. After a few goes you can use the white markings on the ball as reference so u know where to put it next time

to the ppl having probs ..ur probably moving the mouse after uve released the ball which puts spin on it ..thats why u will have 1 or 2 leftover instead of a perfect strike

To Everybody that says that the scroll doesn't work or it doesn't release the ball here is the solution:

1- Change your browser .. IE didn't work, I tried google chrome it worked.

2- It scrolls but doesn't release the ball, so you have to scroll and release the mouse button.

that's it.

This trick DOES indeed work.

Just, look where the guy in the vid places the ball, and DON*T MOVE your mouse to the sides, as it will make it spin to either sides.

I made 9 strikes, and 3 spares after 3-4 tries.

And, if your resolution is too big, just minimize the browser. Worked for me.

The idea is to be able to demonstrate control of the ball by throwing it at the right place and speed (which must be done my moving the mouse forward as intended) and to control it after the throw. About any skill intended to be used in this game, you abandon. Lining up the ball does not take as much skill as throwing it where you line it up at and keeping it there. This is a great technique you have perfected which is why you get strikes continuously. On my vista, the scroll-up on the mouse did not work on internet explorer, but when i switched to firefox it worked like a charm. Now i get about 7 strikes per game and im practicing the beginning aim position, hopefully I too will have perfected it :)
