  • Wow this is hardcore, the fight for culture that is very hardcore, if only US would support them. This guys are downright movie traditional.

  • bravissimo antonio :)

  • Quite a fascinating video and a great story about what you`re doing !

I noticed something curious about their Staff fighting style . I`ve seen it ,or something almost identical in India . There they call it " Lati Kela " - (pronounced Late` -meaning Staff ). Interesting , though . Thanks for posting !

  • The Shan are related to the Thai (in Thailand) by culture and language. Especially the northern Thai Lanna and Laos people.

  • Well done Antonio Graceffo for trying to help these good people and bring attention to the Shans plight in Burma. I love the Shan people and hope everything goes well for them and that they prosper.

  • Their "Yan" tattoos have the same concept as Cambodia's Yantra tattoos that protect our warriors.

I love what you're doing, documenting the struggles of Shan State and the ongoing conflict in Burma because not a lot of us Americans know what is happening in Burma.

  • yeah i did a story on the boxer tattoos in cambodia and this was pretty similar. its most of the region though, also thailand and i would assume loa.
