greg i've been wondering, my mouthpiece is the wrong way round (the reed is touching my top lip instead of the bottom lip) so i thought it would be best to ask such an experienced player like yourself if it will cause problems for the future

P.S

If it weren't for you i wouldn't have started playing the saxophone !!

Want to hear something funny? When I started playing again in Junior High, I thought I remembered my GrandDad teaching me that way and argued with my trumpet teacher band director that he didn't play sax so he didn't know what he was talking about! I don't know how long I fought it but did eventually turn the mouthpiece over and it is supposed to be - reed on the bottom lip!!
