I have a couple of MAC glosses and they actually have a kind of a sweet smell, almost like a light vanilla. I'm wondering if the gloss was expired. Anyway, great haul, great products...enjoy!

the difference in the prices is probably because they have to ship the product from the US and all that. here in australia an eyeshadow is $30 when it's only $14.50 in america.

the mac lipgloss is supposed to smell like that. mine usually either smell like a crayon or marker sometimes. I've noticed that MAC lipgloss don't have a sweet smell or a fruity smell. Yours is fine.

Normally when a gloss smells funny, it's old and should be thrown out, but the smell is supposed to be like a crayon smell...

I actually visited my local CCO store and found the MAC polish for $7, they have a lot of really good prices i even bought some pigments for $11 also ^.^

I got my first slimshine lipstick about 2 weeks ago, i got missy too!! its a really gorgeous unique colour i think, there arent many others in that shade. well, i havent seen many! i love it now! :)

MAC lip products usually smell like vanilla or something like that so.. that lip product has probably gone bad. :[

MAC probably costs more because of the cost of shipping it over there. The MAC company isn't based in Europe, so they have to send their products there, which isn't free.

I've noticed things like that here, in Newfoundland. Things like toothpaste are more expensive in small, outport towns in the middle of no where because it costs more to get the product there.

The slimshines are awesome! You need to try "voile" color in the slimshine, it really accentuates whatever lipstick you are wearing.

You got great stuff, hope to see what you have planned with those nail polishes. The purple nail polish you got looks more like an eggplant color.

Well, all lipglosess taste/smell wierd. it's something in the ingridiants I guess. But you have the Revlon gloss (the one you used two tutorials ago if I'm not mistaken), I have it too, but in a different color, and to me it smells alright, I actually like the smell.

And as for the prices, it's probably because of the tax. MAC costs a whole lot more in Israel :(

Thats the only reason why I don't buy MAC. I'm unemplyed at the moment so I can't afford them, But I totally love the products. I really want the paints (I don't like the paint pots) and I really want some of the brushes. Once I'll get a job, I'll probably get the 222 and a kabuki brush.

as far as the price difference in Europe.. im not sure, but it might be the strict business regulations by the European Union that increase the company's cost of operation in Europe, so they increase the prices to compensate. Also, the products manufactured in America will cost more to ship to Europe.
