When I was 10 in 2000, my local networks kept airing this ad and I wanted to go SO bad. I kept begging my mother to go, but she didn't give in. Though going by these comments, I guess it's best we didn't go!

This place is a rip-off. Entries are 40 bucks per person, there are only about 2-3 "worthy" amusement rides, to get to the Sky Screamer you have to take a path that spins all the way around a 150m hill, and you must pay 10 bucks extra each time you want to get closer than 50 yards to any kind of marine animal.

Whats funny is how Marineland is so damn cheap to make a new commercial every year they play the same crap over and over and over again for years! Canada's wonderland at least makes the effort to make a new fresh commercial every year.

Actually, to what I see, they treat animals well in Marineland. There have been no deaths due to neglect. The only death was because of natural disorder back in 2000.

BTW I haven't seen this commercial in maybe 5 years but it always reminds me of eating dinner during summer vacation. They used to always run this commercial during the news. I've been to Seaworld in Florida but not Marineland.

I live in Rochester, NY and this commercial is on all the time in the summer, like I hear it 5-6 times a day sometimes. We finally went last summer. It was pretty good, but its really really spread out. It feels like 3 miles to get to the other side of the park. The big roller coster is good and the shows fun for families.

Marineland's not as big and exciting as everyone makes it out to be. The rides are okay, the gift shop sucks, the food and drinks are WAY over-priced, and the only thing really worth seeing, is the whale show. If you don't want to waste big bucks, this isn't the place for you.

i found it best ot get a season pass, and go for a few days. the orcas are much better kept than they used to be, and its thrilling to see them beyond having someone standing on their nose to pounding music. u can see belugas upclose too, and feed the belugas, and when they finally finish the new area u can do the same with dolphins. *can't wait cuz the dolphins need out of that stadium, no one can really watch them*
