June is way hotter than her at the end and is really intriguing, funny and smart...there was no contest; unlike Kristabell she actually had a personality.

But we have to give credit where credit is due..Nate was always drawn to June, but typical mixed-up guy that he was, didn't realise it.. the gf he broke up with at the start of the film was JANE (June subconsciously), and they both had the same views on a dream 1st date - Milan.

It was an hour well spent relaxing, no earth-shaking creativity or moral lessons, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Well, in regards to Nate liking June ONLY after the transformation: Whilst some parts of that is true, you have to think about the fact, that Nate was after Cristabel. So naturally, he didn't think about June. He was after her, because he thought it was 'fate' as stated in 1 part. But when Johann and Cristabel danced, and he talked to June, Didn't you see some sparks? And he did too. And as desorden150 stated you can't seriously say, that you would be attracted to a woman with such teeth.

Christine Lakin is far more attractive than Paris Hilton which makes the moral of the story to be different from what it's supposed to be. Instead of falling for the ugly girl by looking past her exterior, Nate simply chooses the most attractive girl. With a classic beauty as Cristabel and a more normal looking girl as June it would have been a better movie.
