  • Charlie Ward was a bad dude in the early 90's at FSU. ut wasn't that number 94 sitting on the bench for Miami was the Rock, Dwayne Johnson?

  • Is that the Rock at :18?

  • Those were the good ole days. I hope the Noles can get back 2 that level. I'm a huge Noles fan and guys like Charlie Ward, Derrick Brooks, Warrick Dunn, Boldin, Darnell Dockett and so on make the Noles special

  • @Dogfacesoulja8582 what about amp lee, and dexter carter, and terrell buckley?

  • @tranurse Hell yeah. Even forgot to mention Deion Sanders, Peter Warrick, and so on. So many great Noles. Can't wait for college football to start!

  • i wonder how good the rock woulda been if he woulda went to the nfl

  • Ward was awesome. A great college football player. Tebow was too and so was Vince Young. Doesn't matter what we say about them. They did what we could not. Nough said!

  • "ward can walk in.."

  • awesomeeeee

  • imagine if he had some other playmakers not just dunn

  • what an idiot you are

  • mcnabb never won a heisman

  • Charlie was WAAAAY ahead of his time.

  • lolz at 0:54 check out the time on the clock :P

  • rofl thats awesome

  • will someone please put a Charlie Ward highlight reel together...

  • IM WAITIN ON THAT MYSELF

  • Waiting on that as well!!!

    FSU!! 4 LIFE!!

  • the rock @ :19 ????

  • @jcat76 the Rock looks so weird with all the weight on back the and the hair all over the place.

  • dude are u stupid way better than mcnab

  • @kale234 Are you dumb??? McNabb is a hall of fame QB...

  • @Domini478 Rush Limbaugh was right about him.... McNabb should never even smell the HOF unless he goes to visit.

  • this is my coach...i dont believe it

  • charlie wuz a gud nba player but he wuz a football superstar. he shud have went to the nfl

  • ward was unstoppable!!!!!!!!!!

  • Truly the Terrelle Pryor of his time.

  • He was way better than Pryor, he could throw the ball, too.

  • @vidEvWill He was 10x the QB Pryor is

  • charlie ward was pure magic. he was the original mobile QB and he was the best one. if he went to the NFL he would have been better than michael vick, vince young, or any of the other running QBs. the world wasnt ready for his brand of signal caller back then. and i love how pissed the rock is lol

  • Rock looks ready to kill in that shot. He's so cute when he's angry.

  • The Rock was a walk-on and he really had work his way to get a starting job at Miami. Warren Sapp was just a freshman then.

  • naw, the rock got a scholarship in high school from Miami

  • He was weasel quick, always under control. He had that "Montana thing",where could make the game slow down for him! Then, make himself disappear...then he went to the Knicks!Wow....

  • You can have Vince Young Tim Tebow or anyone else you want give me Charlie Ward and i'm plently confident

  • @tjmcdoug Tebow and Young were both better than Ward... Ward would've never made it to the NFL, and both of those guys were first round picks.

NFL scouts know more about it than you.

Tommie Frazier was WAY better than Ward, and even he wasn't good enough for the NFL... So Tebow and Young must've been pretty good........

  • @alexwilsonNC Young is a bust, Tebow we'll see Ward could have been a possible first rounder if he hadn't turned teams off with the fact that he was un-sure of if he'd play in the NFL or NBA, oh and Tommie Frazier couldn't pass for shit, however he was a great player who probably would have made it in the NFL if he didn't get a blood clot in his leg before he got the oppurtunity. and btw Ryan Leaf and Tom Brady will tell ya that the best guy in college and the best NFL guy ain't always the same

  • @tjmcdoug I agree with that last part. But, Tebow is astarting NFL QB... Ward probably wouldn't have been. Just my 2¢…

  • @alexwilsonNC u have got 2 be kidding when u say frazier was better than ward let alone tebow. frazier was a better runner than tebow and neither him or tebow were faster as agile nimble quick and elusive as ward. and the only thing u can even compare them with to say who is better is running. ward ran a pro style offense at florida state he would have been nfl ready if given the chance. tebow ran the spread option while frazier ran the power option not notably used in the nfl. ward hands down!

  • @elcanpion I didn't say Frazier was better than Tebow. I said he was better than Ward. Ward would've been hit a few times and been put out if he ever made it off the practice squad. Ward was good, but you people act like he was better than everyone. Matter of fact, Tebow could've been a better basketball player too if he played basketball. Tebow has a higher vertical leap than 90% of all players in the NBA now. Don't believe me, look at the combine numbers for both sports.

  • @alexwilsonNC maybe i worded it 2 where u couldn't understand i was stating that neither tebow or frazier were better than ward since u stated that frazier was better than ward and wasn't good enough for the nfl. if ward would have chosen to enter the draft for the nfl instead of the nba he would have been in the league. and basketball isnt all about vertical leap either.i'll take a guy who can pass to set his teammates up and shoot the lights out from outside over a guy who is dunking all day

  • @elcanpion I don't actually think Tebow would've been a better baller, but it is just as reasonable to say that as to say Ward would've made it in the NFL. Ward was nasty in college, but so was Eric Crouch...

Frazier would've made it in the NFL had he not been injured. Dude was a freak athlete, watch his highlights. Someone would've found a position for him.

  • @alexwilsonNC i agree alex, frazier would have made it & eric crouch was a phenom for running the option @ nebraska. but frazier, crouch, and tebow did not run a pro style system in college which would have made them nfl ready if not prepared 4what they would have 2run on sundays. ward ran a pro style offense and he was a drop back pocket passer who was a dual threat 2run. ward's size isn't the factor 2determine if he would play or not his heart is. look @ flutie, brees,& vick. they suceeded.

  • @alexwilsonNC 4some reason people tend 2not see that 1 facet of the game when making this comparison whose the better passer. in this case its ward clearly far and beyond frazier & tebow. ur arguing that ward wouldn't have made in the nfl because of his size and i'm debating that he would have made it because of his talent. if u are willing 2put on pads and play football then u know the risk ur taking. urban meyer didn't help tebow 2 prepare 4the next level and weiss arrival @florida was 2late.

  • @alexwilsonNC weiss would have been a great mentor 4tebow in helping him prepare 4 the nfl. he would have came into the league more polished as a passer and probably be a starter right now. but instead he is a 3rdstring qb behind brady quinn who was under the mentorship of weiss talk about irony. here's a bit more of irony 4 u i'm a big time broncos fan and if there is any1 who wants see tebow 2suceed its a bronco fan. so i can be completly unbiased about whose the better qb.right now its orton
