Mab is impatient at the end, when Frick explains very detailed the things about magic. That makes her sympathetic. Frick is really a boring teacher! I can unterstand her, I am also bored from most of my teachers. In some situations on the film I really like Mab. She is not so boring like Merlin and her white sister.
I agree. Mab was actually the most gifted actress in the whole movie. Also the my personal favorite.
