@BUFALAU@BUFALAU yup, i wasn't a very strong gymnast though and made the majority of my improvement by following the works / teachings of coach sommer / gymnasticbodies and ido portal
correct me if i'm wrong, but wouldn't it be feasible to make this exercise even more challenging by adding a handstand? front lever > planche > handstand > planche > front lever?
solid strength there, i like this bodyweight style stuff but im too heavy for it at the moment, still tryign to learn how to do a planche hold/push up currently able to hold the tucked position for a while but not much more than that.
@KikujiroChan bit of a stereotype but you're kind of right, I bodybuild but i also like to train bodyweight stuff too as i cba losing flexibility / functional strength
@rapesomeface Breathing while doing the planche is not impossible. I can tighten my core just fine and continue to breath. Yes, its not easy and it is strenuous, but then if it was easy everyone could do it and if you want to hold a planche for some time you need to give your muscles oxygen. Accomplished and well trained acrobats disprove 'impossible' all the time.
i just tried this on my billiards table, struggled to get from a straddled front lever to being on top of the table (didnt look very pretty), but this shall be my new goal for the next few months :)
@thejsapblog Certainly. Been training for planche for 2 years and still can only hit it with one straight leg also. I think I just progress slowly :-) it IS worth it though. good luck with your training.
Wow that was awesome bro!!! Very very innovative way to do a lever, muscle up, and planche all in one move and from a table. Im going to give it a try and see if i can do it. Thanks for the sub im subbing u back too. :D

U need to breath more my friend. You're muscles are working very hard especially in the plank stage and they need oxygen.
TheTruthHurtsYup 4 months ago
@TheTruthHurtsYup guess what, you also need a tight core for a plank. breathing pretty much makes that impossible
rapesomeface 4 months ago
@rapesomeface Breathing while doing the planche is not impossible. I can tighten my core just fine and continue to breath. Yes, its not easy and it is strenuous, but then if it was easy everyone could do it and if you want to hold a planche for some time you need to give your muscles oxygen. Accomplished and well trained acrobats disprove 'impossible' all the time.

@TheTruthHurtsYup let me rephrase my statement: breatching might not be impossible, but it sure is stupid as fuck if you want that tightness
