  • Where was this scene shot?

  • @tragopan77 Probably Dubai

  • I like this film - it shows sad and bitter truth in our political life. George Clooney always showed one and the same typical acting but Finally he looked great and not monotonous. But I still think that he didn't deserve the Oscar - just because he showed nice serious acting (for the first time by the way) doesn't mean that they should give him the Oscar. Academics and critics are as corrupted as politicians. Sad, very sad but I still love this film very much

  • The third falcon is thinking: 'Anyone? Anyone?...Nope. Okay I'll just sit here.'

  • Soooo where can I find this full movie?

  • yes they'll be back to the stone age within a hundred years, actualy, probably 50 years the way renewable energy research is going, but just imagine the room that will make for western developers to come in and bring happy meals and ipods to the whole arab race! then, when they've finally been westernized there will be peace in the middle east.

  • then the jews will kill us all, everybody. nice.

  • look kids! its a xenophobe! everbody stare.

  • please..

  • Our future is sealed,we dont progress fast inuf,we are still depending on the primitive oil industry,BUT IT IS NOT RENEWEBLE IT IS NOT ECONOMIC,IT IS NOT ENVIORIOMENTAL.WE NEED NEW ENERGY SOURCES NOW.

  • No shit. Any ideas about new energy sources?

  • Haha 077 did you just call someone a xenophobe after making a racist blanket statement against the entire arab race? Hey you know what I'll join the retard club and make a blanket statement myself:

I think its clear that none of you clowns (077, Nemesis) understand THE MOST BASIC ASPECTS of renewable energy economics. Basically: the transition off oil/LNG will be long, hard, and most importantly PARTIAL. I don't usually comment but this one made me feel happy.

  • I was being sarcastic about the arabs, I hate how you cant express sarcasm properly over youtube. Your blanket statement is realistic. Sadly

  • alright heres a qoute for you "oil is not a dependency...it's an addiction" i dunno it jus came to me after wachin this movie (for the 10TH time)

  • "oil is not a dependency...it's an addiction"

Wow, that's... deep man. I feel guilty that I'm not paying to hear this kind of profound philosophical insight.

    MATT DAMON.

  • "We think that 100 years ago you were living in the desert in tents, cutting each other's heads off and that's just where you'll be in another 100."

    So true.

  • Yep and that is if they keep selling oil to the USA. The only way they can prevent it is if they stay away from the US. Which is what the prince trys to do in this film but the CIA and US government kills him.

  • Right, because China, India, Russia, and the rest of Europe aren't oil junkies, too.

    Stupidity knows no bounds.

  • No but they dont F**k other people over for it. If you look it up the USA almost consumes more oil then all China, India, Russia and Europe combined. Consuming it is not the problem here, it would be beneficial if the oil went to the EU and East by building a pipeline and going for the highest bidder, which has always been China. Shipping it to the states is very uneconomical.

  • Stupidity knows no bounds, huh?

  • Correctamundo.

  • There's a joke in Saudi Arabia: My grandfather rode a camel. My father rode a car. I ride in an airplane. My son will ride a camel.

  • Nice one. But, many mainland Chinese are now reverting back to bikes like they used to do years ago.

The only major difference is that, they are now opting for e-bikes and e-scooters. : -)

  • @victorrain your grandfather was probably the happiest of the three, so it could be for the best.

  • This is so very true. No one likes the arabs but still everybody want their oil so they most pledge. USA look through their fingers when it comes to the arabstates because of the oil.

  • Incredible scene.

  • Matt Damon is consistently known as the best scriptreader in Hollywood.

  • Ironic that his Good Will Hunting collaborator could be considered the worst :)

  • Indeed - however those boiler room monologues were quite entertaining, n'est-ce pas?

  • Honor's in the dollar, kid

  • probably one of the best scenes in the movie.

  • Is matt damon your God!lol

  • I couldn't finish the movie because I had no f$&@ing idea what was going on, but I understood the intensity of the scene.

  • Don't worry, sweety. You're not the only one. But, I'm sure you'll figure out the movie in a year or two. Just keep reading books and all. :)

  • Can you explain what Matt Damon is talking about when he's drawing on the sand?

  • He touched on many different things; some are related, while others are not.

This topic has been discussed and debated endlessly at imdb. Go to the board there. Cheers.

  • Awsome scene.

  • to play in many films that makes you not a good actor

he doesent suits in any film

  • are you silly what matt damon says are the lines given to him in the film, you cant dis him for that. and if he is such a bad actor why is he in so many films at the moment. get a life mr cock sucker

  • you're an idiot.

  • pagereader listen to what he is talking about, he is not comparing weather and the enviroment but economy and society.

  • stfu,bitch.

  • he is talking in GNP terms.

  • This was a great scene. "And I'll give you another 100 million for the other kid." Holy fuck! I almost fell outta my chair the first time I saw that movie.
